Trump is winning over Democrats and Independents on Jobs policy.

If he can get more, a lot more, good paying jobs, he can get away with everything else.

if he can't, then he can't get away with anything.

He must produce jobs.

And the only way as a President is to do it the statist progressive way.
He is already creating jobs.

"(Bloomberg) President-elect Donald Trump’s threat of retribution against companies that move jobs out of the U.S. is already having the effect he probably intended: some business leaders are pausing plans to seek foreign addresses.

Ross Baldwin, whose San Diego-based firm Tacna helps U.S. companies set up manufacturing operations in Mexico, said three new clients put their plans on hold until they see what Trump does as president.

At the McAllen Economic Development Corp., which assists companies seeking to expand across the Mexican border from the Texas city, two of five companies currently considering a move have put the brakes on their plans because of Trump, said Keith Partridge, the development corporation’s chief executive officer.

Trump’s Twitter vow that companies shifting jobs out of the U.S. will face “consequences” under his administration introduced new and difficult-to-gauge political risk for businesses considering offshoring to lower costs. The incoming president’s passion for the cause was underscored at his Dec. 1 rally to celebrate an agreement he reached with United Technologies Corp.’s Carrier unit to keep about 800 factory jobs in Indianapolis instead of moving them to Mexico.

You stop this crap...

Unemployment today stands at 4.9%... On the 20th Jan that will be a metric we will judge him on...

That and:
National Debt
Deficit
Income Gap
Education Ranking
Healthcare Insurance
Inflation
Price of Gas
......

So one sob story about 800 jobs don't cut it....

And yet consumer confidence and business confidence have gone up since the election. It was the unemployed workers in the Mid West and western Pennsylvania who were ignored by Obama and Clinton who elected Trump. Why is this so hard for you to understand?

[Obama changing millions of jobs from full-time to part time didn't cut it either..

8mm full time new jobs, 1.5mm part time new jobs

You lie then you cry when you get skinned. You idiot.
Tell that to the economic Democrats in the Mid West and western Pennsylvania who elected Trump.
Deflection won't help you. You do point out Trump's nearly inevitable defeated -- if he cannot satisfy the jobs needs of those people, including the Pubs in the same group regionally. They will dump his ass.

It's not a deflection. When Trump talked about keeping jobs from leaving, Obama laughed, and that was an insult to these workers. All the present indications are that Trump will be able to save their jobs from leaving, and that will not only secure their votes but gain him more votes from other traditional Democrats.

It’s Time to Blame Obamacare for Losing So Many Full time jobs

Had a sinking feeling about the economy of late? It may not be your imagination. Economic indicators have flashed yellow for much of 2016, and the latest jobs report shows further depletion of the work force and a dearth of job creation. That trend, says one major bank, may be attributable to President Barack Obama’s signature legislation.

Last Friday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released the worst jobs report in almost six years. The US economy only added 38,000 jobs, less than a tenth of the estimated 458,000 Americans who left the workforce. In fact, thanks to revisions made to the March and April reports, that exceeds the number of jobs created in the pastthree months (348,000) by more than 100,000. The workforce participation rate dropped back to 62.6 percent, near a 40-year low, and more than three full points below its level at the start of the recovery in June 2009 (65.7 percent).

To call this a wide miss is an understatement. Economists had predicted a moderate jobs gain, withReuters forecast

Cao Dewang became a billionaire by making glass for the world’s top carmakers, but his recent decision to move part of his operations to the United States has some asking whether the days of China as a manufacturing haven are over.

In The Beijing News on Monday, Fuyao Glass chairman Cao, 70, was quoted as saying the US was a cheaper and better place to make glass because taxes were much lower than in China. His comments come as some companies are reconsidering their presence in China, and as US president-elect Donald Trump is trying to lure firms back to the US under his “Make America Great Again” slogan.

Unbelievable these assholes - 15 million jobs grown since recession, 200,000+ every other month, but oh-goody there is a single outlier month to go run off with!

Tell you what, if 38,000 in march is good enough to be proof that Obamacare kills jobs, then surely 292,000 and 255,000 jobs in following months is even better proof it creates jobs.

Bear can't do the math. His train wreck of an argument is horrible but fascinating to watch.

Spartanburg County Councilman David Britt, who heads the Economic Recruitment and Development Committee, touted the county's success in 2016 in attracting new business to the area.

"We are an economic force that most states would love to have," Britt said.

The projects discussed by council on Monday included:

* International Mold Corp., a BMW supplier, which plans to invest $6.25 million, according to the agreement. Identified as Project IMC, the company will build a new plant in Greer and employ up to 110 new workers.

* Advanced Ceramic Coatings LLC plans to invest $27 million in the county and create about 50 new full-time jobs by 2022. The project includes the construction of a 62,500-square-foot facility at 1191 Howell Road in Duncan. The facility is expected to open in the third quarter of 2017.

* Magna Seating of America plans to open a 230,000-square-foot $29 million facility in June employing up to 480 workers by 2020. The company held a groundbreaking ceremony Dec. 6 at the 20-acre construction site at Highway 290 and Anderson Mill Road at Pacolet Milliken's Tyger Industrial Park North in Spartanburg County. The Canada-based company will manufacture seats for BMW X model vehicles produced at the German automaker's Greer plant.

* One unnamed project, identified only as Project Senator, has requested a fee in lieu of a tax agreement with the county and South Carolina. The project calls for an investment of at least $7.3 million and the creation of about 100 new jobs.
