And the idiocy continues. Do you know what a Senate filibuster is? Do you understand that the minority party in the Senate can block anything with a filibuster if they have 41 votes? How many Democrats voted against the funding bill last night? 44. Therefore, the filibuster held and the government had to shut down.

And, FYI, the House passed a funding bill on Thursday by a comfortable margin, and Trump publicly and privately urged Senate Democrats to vote to keep the government open.
