Trump was a grifter in office. In many ways. He got his daughter's trademarks approved by China. He got $500 million from China for an Indonesian project. He got foreigners to stay in his hotel as a condition for access to him.

Jared got $2 billion from the Saudis as a reward for Trump looking out for MBS.

He changed the tax laws to his benefit. The only real legislative achievement of his time in office.

It was non-stop grift from the get-go.
