The whole Trump campaign is still in shock over Harris replacing Biden. This requires new strategies for the Trump campaign, new smear campaigns, TV attack adds, banners, billboards, selection for locations of rallies and appearances, feeds to rightwing broadcasters, meetings with top donors, etc. all have to changed to reflect the new candidate.

Harris is certainly not helping in this effort by restricting interviews, announcements, and keeping her campaign generic. While Trump launches one personal attack after another against Harris, she laughs them off with a a "Poor Donald, he's acting weird again."
