During the week of the convention Trump appeared he learned something about staying on point with the issues and appeared presidential. Now that he has an identified opponent, he's reverted to his same old self. I believe he'd have more of a chance with independents if he played less to his base and concentrated on his own stance on issues. Would hate to see him playing into the hands of the media.
