The fact that so many voters had such a dumb unawareness of what is actually happening is testament to the Orwellian, Marxist inspired US press that hid the criminal malpractice of its chosen candidate like a propaganda platform from the bowels of the former Soviet Union.

The manufactured, salivating hatred of a mind-controlled population is an ugly reminder that we as a democracy are never very far away from the socialist slavery of the People’s Republic of China, the primary cheerleaders of Biden’s support. Trump is such a threat to the statist machinery of elitist government that a biological component appeared as an insurance policy guarding against the liberties of the people with fear and a herd mentality of group compliance.

The school officials were following the democratic party's initiative to give them an unofficial strike disguised as a quarantine. My wife is at work right now in the hospital with the other nurses. They are another bunch who has been put through hell because of this fake "plague" which never produced the numbers of patients they were told to expect by any stretch of the imagination. They've been moved all over like pieces on a chess board for nothing and lost a percentage of their annual income. She just texted me and said they are mostly all basically hoping for Trump to win. Way to go, girls! Pray he does.

No worries. If Biden wins this thing, there will be no more flu-like virus. Schools can reopen, no more masks or social distancing, life will go back to normal.

They missed the deadline. Now they know how many they need. It should be obvious what is going on here. They stopped counting on election night because they didn’t like where it was headed. In fact, these states all stopped counting at about the same time, with the exemption of NV. Phone calls were likely made to stop. They needed to have time to “fix’ the situation that was clearly headed in the wrong direction for them.

NV is taking a day off today, which is absolutely absurd.

The President has lawyers watching their every move.

No kidding. There's no excuse with the technology we have.

Mail in ballots have been used in past elections. We didn't know in 2000 who won either. IF WE REALLY wanted to USE TECHNOLOGY AND TRUMP DOES NOT WANT TO DO THAT, we'd pass a national law making all federal elections run like Colorado's. Everybody gets mailed a ballot, and all ballots have to be turned in by some date to be counted. And the ballot has to be signed and returned in an specific envelop that is mailed out with the ballot.

I don't agree with a national law but I do agree that some states are way behind in their voting technology.

Well more hands don't make a better cake, necessarily. I recall the recounts in Fla where not only was the recounting monitored by state officials, the campaigns themselves had watchers.

I agree at least in part with LordBrownTrout that fully standardized federal elections might pose problems with federalism and the const provision that states conduct elections, although the const gives congress power over federal elections as well. But as a result of Bush v. Gore, one remedy was more standardized ballot counting machines. The form itself is pretty basic, but from what I know it's pretty much up to the states as to what get listed where.

I don't know about anywhere else, but our ballots are like lottery cards. You fill in the oval next to your issue or candidate, then feed it into the ballot reader. The ballot reader should have a memory card that records what was submitted. Then they can connect that to the internet to report the votes to the election board. That's not to say it should substitute the way we do things now. Those ballots should still be hand counted to verify the machine count, but at least it would help notifying the public as to who won the election.
