Trump's (4) Executive Orders to lower drug prices

Doesn’t sound so impressive:

Putting the President’s hyperbole aside, there are caveats and limitations attached to all four executive orders. And, the orders contain little if any substantively new policy changes. In fact, most of the policy changes contained in the orders were included in the Department of Health and Human Services Blueprint to Lower Drug Prices and Reduce Out-of-Pocket Costs, released in May 2018.
CNBC had a bitch session about drug prices a while back.
They got Epipens from cameramen who said the cost was $700 for two Epipens. That is a lot for a necessity.
The cost of insulin is outrageous, $300 for a 10-day supply vs a $30 cost in Canada. WTF?
If you had to pay those prices you would be very grateful to Trump for lowering them.
Why won't democrats write laws to make the EOs "Law"? Are the dems owned by big pharma?

We’ll see if it works. The details don’t sound so great. Sounds like they can all be challenged in court. If it’s so easily fixed why did trump wait so long?

Its very tough to bite the hand that feeds you.
I'm sure big pharma has many lobbyists from both parties on K-Street with many lawmakers on very short leashes.
If the EOs prove anything its that Trump is for the middle class over big money lobbyists. We'll see if any lawmakers follow thru on reducing drug costs.

Eh we’ll see if it is actually effective. Much of what I have read makes it sound like this was more of a political stunt. There is no question they own a lot of politicians.
