Trumps travel ban. Times up

Kuwait imposes visa ban on Pakistan, 4 other Muslim nations: Read full details

Kuwait City, February 2: Following the President of the United States, Donal Trump’s footsteps the leadership of Kuwait has decided to put a blanket ban on entry of people from five Islamic countries.

The ‘visa ban’ comes as a surprise to many nations around the world. Among the countries that are part of the ban are Syria, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Kuwait considers the five countries unstable and a threat to the oil producing nation’s stability.

Well well.. Look WHO ELSE has a "Muslim ban"...

Saudi, Bahrain, Quatar, and MOST of the peninsula have de facto "Trump Muslim" bans apparently..
Are all of those countries included in Mr. Trump's travel ban? Muslims probably know Muslims better than non-Muslim Americans.

Trumps Travel ban has been explained as a 90 day moratorium on travel from a handful of countries so that extreme vetting measures can be established.

Although the travel restrictions have been blocked by the courts there have been no restrictions to prevent him from improving our vetting measures. Had the ban not been blocked, the 90 day period would have long expired. So what does he have to show for it from a vetting standpoint?

Is he really trying to improve vetting or is he just trying to block people from traveling here and gain a political victory to a hateful base?

Please help me understand Trumps goals in relation to the 90 day timeframe and extreme vetting initiatives.
Hes trying to prevent the muslim problem in Europe, from happening in the US.
From which of the seven Muslim countries in the ban did the London attackers come?
Who cares? Clearly they should all be banned.
Want to give our commander in chief, "the memo"?

The London attackers were UK citizens. So we better ban Brits from coming here, folks.

Were they citizens by birth or did they come from another country en masse and become citizens as part of a wave? If so, how long have they been citizens and what was there country of origin?

These refugees are vetted for 18 months to 24 months before they are allowed to enter this country. I don't what else anyone can do to insure that they're safe to let into this country?

"Their first point of a refugee's contact is with the U.N. High Commission for Refugees. The UNHCR refers people to countries based on whether they have any family members there and where resettlement makes the most sense, say U.S. officials. If that's the U.S., then refugees are vetted by the National Counterterrorism Center, the FBI's Terrorist Screening Center, and the Departments of State, Defense and Homeland Security. Fingerprints are taken, biographical information is collected. They are then each individually interviewed by U.S. officials trained to verify that they're bona fide refugees.

Refugees from Syria are then subject to additional screening that looks at where they came from and what caused them to flee their home, stories that are checked out. All of this occurs before a refugee is allowed to set foot in the country.

2. It's a lengthy process.

As you might imagine, all of the vetting, from interviews to fingerprinting, takes a while. On average, officials say it's 18 to 24 months before a refugee is approved for admission to the U.S.

The U.S. has admitted some 1,800 Syrian refugees in the past two years, and President Obama wants to allow 10,000 more. The administration says half of those who have been admitted are children and about a quarter of them are adults over 60. Officials say 2 percent are single males of combat age."

4 Things To Know About The Vetting Process For Syrian Refugees

So who knows what Trump means by "extreme" vetting. I mean if you can't find something on someone within 18 to 24 months what are you going to find?
