Simple math. National discount stores like Costco? C-Corps. They pay federal and local taxes based on revenue. Small business owners? Mostly S-Corps. They pay no federal taxes and only a small state tax based on revenue. A fixed number. I.E, in NY 750K to 1 Million in revenue, $275 for the year to the state and nothing to the federal government. Houses of worship? Pay no taxes.
And THAT is why Costco can be open but Joes pub can not. Houses aof worship? No state or federal income.
In the meantime, those that make those decisions still get paid.
Simple math.

Of course. That's why you weren't allowed to go to Church but were free to stop by the liquor store on the way home. Liquor stores pay a lot of taxes.

That may be a side benefit, but the reasons for the shutdowns are much deeper.

As do strip clubs and tattoo parlors.
Its not about choosing winners and losers. It about choosing what businesses can support the state and local budget. Which, in a way, is choosing who wins and who loses.

This is a simple case where the PROG supports PROG-Commie plan to eliminate all small businesses by replacing them with Amazon & Dominos. All so PROGS can complain about wages, the dumb-shits

He's cause and effect short of course, that's why he's PROG to begin with. Asshole doesn't know the reason small business "don't pay fed. income tax" is because they're not interstate, however the useless couldn't figure out on his own that yes they do pay federal tax on their income.........IDIOT.

Since 1/2 of the PROGS don't pay federal income tax at all, can we shut them down too?
