Anyone's guess what happens...should the R party die.Well sure, theoretically. I guess my overall question is how large that entity would be. The party is in three pieces right now - the unwanted "RINO" moderates, the Cruz hardcore conservatives, and the Trump, uh, people. What remains to make up the new party? 50%? 70%? Either way, it would be a while before it would be competitive again, no?Don't you think that should the R party die, another party would rise in its place? Or do you think we would become a one party state (like we are now)?Okay, great: How do REAL conservatives win elections if there is only the Democrat party and a wide range of other ideologies with no infrastructure?Again you are mistaken. The R party is not conservative. It is progressive light. But how do conservatives win elections if there is only the Democrat party and a wide range of other ideologies with no infrastructure?IMO the country needs to eliminate political parties altogether.
It could be the R establishment, with help from the lib MSM, DNC, and the 1% will overtly and covertly sabotage a Trump presidential campaign giving us four years of Hillary...which would be a disaster. The silver lining might be the death of the R party.

At any rate, it's dying would be a tremendous blessing for the country. No matter what occurs afterward.
IMO one of the potential consequences of a dead R party, might be the death of the D party.
