They still have strict gun controls on who can own a weapon and background checks.
1) No. The only background checks that come into play are when you purchase from a commercial outlet. Anyone can buy from any other individual without any such checks. Generally speaking, pretty much every citizen at least 18 years old is legally allowed to own a weapon. There are some restrictions on purchasing fully automatic weapons. Then again, every man in the country is required to undergo compulsory military training and service starting at 20 years old, where he is issued a fully automatic assault rifle, and is required to keep it himself at his own place of residence. These are not strict laws by any sense. They are simple and basic laws.
2) This is the second time I am having to tell you, DO NOT QUOTE ME IF YOU ARE GOING TO COMPLETELY EVADE WHAT I HAVE SAID. The issue in my post is the fact that widespread proliferation of assault weapons in Switzerland has failed to produce the kind of danger that so many people claim is caused by proliferation of guns.
And the US is a much more violent place. just the way you guys are.
Fuck off douche. You don't know anything about me so who are you to accuse me of being violent? Congratulations for showing that your position isn't based on logic or facts. Instead you're basing your position on stigma, prejudice, and presumption. Like I said earlier, this just one modern day version of the Salem witch trials. What you're doing is no better than when homophobes talk shit about gay people.
