I really do believe it is about getting everyone health care. Which means that those who are paying now HAVE TO pay more there is no way around it. Even if they went to single payer eliminating the insurance companies will not lower cost significantly. And considering that the public employees enjoy much higher wages and benefits then do the private sector the administration costs will have to increase.

No, for the working stiff and those who worked all their lives to be able to retire before they are too old to work or enjoy life Obamatax is the new slave master. The high cost of the affordable health care is already keeping people working. I think the government likes that, keep working and instead of retiring die, perfect.

My company already has cut off retirees after 2014.

Obamatax will help some and will be affordable to those who don't work.
