2. A basic uniform income would encourage people to abstain from getting a job. This is bad for so many reasons, but the primary reason it is bad is moral. People without anything to do tend to get involved in crime and drugs.

3. Who gets the universal basic income? Adults over 18, or everyone, including children? Just U.S. citizens, or also immigrants (including illegal immigrants)?

4. The bad idea comes from the left, and is therefore motivated by a desire to destroy the work ethic in our nation.
