Viva Trump in Vegas Today!

I like that he's really rich for a couple of reasons. He's NOT beholden to anyone, and he didn't start out rich. I'd like for him to do the same with the country. We are in debt now. And we are beholden to China.
His answer is:
MADE IN AMERICA

If his answer is MADE IN AMERICA, then why does all his merchandise have MADE IN CHINA written on it?

Because you can't find a manufacturing plant in the US that does clothes anymore. There are some small holdouts in the garment district in LA that make some stuff, and there are the couture shops in New York, but for mass production the manufacturers have almost ALL gone to China. Thanks to regulations that sent them over there which were put in place by progressive leaders.

Right.......It's not possible to manufacture in the US............You know that's nuts, right?

Clothing and shoes are almost impossible. New Balance was the last of the shoe companies that still made shoes here in the States, I believe that that may no longer be true. The same holds true for clothes. Other than specialty, and couture, you can't find any made here. Hell try and find ANY household product that is made here in the States.

Just because all the manufacturing has been shipped overseas where they can pay the workers 20 dollars per week, and some of them have been shown to be working with slave like conditions, doesn't mean they can't make stuff here. They made lots of money before they killed the US manufacturing base. Your claim is a dodge, and an excuse to try justifying greed.

The plants are closed. Do you understand that? The EPA has passed all sorts of regulations that make it impossible to manufacture solar modules here in the US at a competitive rate. Thus the manufacturers have moved ALL of that production to the third world where there are little to no environmental regulations. It is virtually impossible to manufacture ANYTHING in the US and be competitive.

The Chinese have worked very hard to take our manufacturing jobs overseas. Walmart has helped them do it, which is one reason why we don't shop at walmart. We buy almost everything from small local stores. It costs us a lot more to do it, but we MUST support the locals. If you don't do that, YOU are part of the problem.

Dude, you really are a one dimensional thinker aren't you. There are MANY reasons why manufacturing has left this country. China has wages that are ridiculously low. The EPA has regulations that make it impossible to manufacture some products in a competitive way. Our Corporate tax rate is high. We have OSHA rules. Etc. etc. etc.

Most of these things are GOOD. However they all have a cost attached to them. Nothing in life is free no matter what your teachers have told you. As manufacturing has left this country the wages have decreased. Thus the prices for things have had to be pushed lower which turns into a vicious circle. To get stuff cheap enough for the majority of Americans to buy they have to be made overseas.

That is simple economics and you are every bit as much to blame as the wealthy industrialists who have shipped the jobs overseas. Whine all you like but it's a fact.

I didn't see a corresponding drop in price along with the drop in manufacturing costs from plants being sent overseas. They made the move for only one reason...... more profit. Blame the EPA, or unions, or anything else you think you can hide behind, but they were making a good profit before they moved, and they are making a better profit now. It's not my fault the manufacturers are greedy.

Oh we can manufacture all right. What we can't do is compete with low or no tariffs on cheap crap from China. Hillary wants to prop India up by buying cheap crap from India with no or low tariffs.
Trump wants exceptionalism for America. The libs want the opposite. And have said so. They are embarrassed by a strong America. Trump is going to insist on a strong America. Let's let him.

Companies are in business to make money. When you tax the hell out of them they will look for a better deal. Libs have and still want to tax them to death. So they took their jobs and moved elsewhere. We need them back. They are the job creators, not the 1%.
The Obama's and the Clintons are the real 1%ers

Bullshit. Corporations have a high stated tax rate, but with all the loopholes, their average effective tax rate is only 12.6%. That's less than my rate.

GAO U.S. corporations pay average effective tax rate of 12.6 - Jul. 1 2013

Quit whining, because the poor little rich guys get off pretty damn easy.

Then I suggest you take a look at the history of manufacturing and how the prices have stayed low in spite of inflation. The only way that can be accomplished is by using near slave labor wages and the only place you can do that is in the third world. You truly have no idea what you're talking about. Your masters talking points are cute but is one dimensional at best.

I was referring to the mind set. And now a new one. Pacific trade, which is a nice way of saying, "Here, take all of this money we gathered from our citizen's paychecks, and in turn we will buy your cheap crap, instead of China's cheap crap."

I see one talking point in the debates where Trump, who wants to re-negotiate trade agreements, can stick it to Rubio and Graham, whom voted for TPP, along with any other RINO who supports it!

Well done, Ram!

I like that he's really rich for a couple of reasons. He's NOT beholden to anyone, and he didn't start out rich.

Are you retarded, or just another typical know-nothing conservative?

His father Fred was worth between $250 and $300 MILLION.

So his father built Trump Towers? Here I thought Donald was responsible for amassing his own fortune. Huh.

You're such a shameless fucking liar.

Industry integration and global manufacturing led to many small firms closing for good during the 1970s and 1980s in the United States; during those decades, 95 percent of the looms in North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia shut down, and Alabama and Virginia also saw many factories close.
Who are the free-traders - Democrats or Republicans?

Who are the cheap-labor advocates - Democrats or Republicans?

It had nothing to do with regulations.

That's easy. We don't make anything in America anymore. Trump wants to change that.
Yeah - people in Hell want ice water, too.

The only way to bring manufacturing back is to accept that goods will cost consumers more. When Bangladesh workers make less than a dollar a day, how will Trump get companies like Calvin Klein to pay workers $9 an hour? He can't.

So Trump sat on his ass and sucked off old dad all this time? I am afraid it's you that is wrong.

Donald Trump has created an empire. His kids didn't create it for him. His dad didn't gift it to him. He made his fortune. He didn't start out a billionaire, but he is one several times over today. And that's a good thing, because unlike Hillary he doesn't own anyone "favors".
And you are one nasty creep.

Wow, you agree with me and then call me a liar. Make up your mind silly boy.

Thanks to regulations that sent them over there which were put in place by progressive leaders.

Again, isn't that like blaming rape victims for their short skirts?

Frankly, I like the fact that there's a regulation that requires my company to provide a safe work place for me and fair pay and they can't dump shit into the rivers.

The stupidity is having free trade with countries that aren't looking out for their people in that way.

I think Trump is a clown, but he's hitting on a very important fact.

No, the stupidity is having free trade with countries who aren't free. NAFTA hurt the US but helped wealthy Mexican and American industrialists. This new deal that Obama is working on, helps China, wealthy American and Asian industrialists, but screws everyone else in the US.
