Wait till the gays get a load of this...

You are supposed to agree with the OP that Pediophiles = Gays

Then since a Pediophile gets disability payments = Gays get disability payments.

Gays do not get these payments.

The only person in this thread that should be receiving checks for being mentally disabled is the OP.

It's about benefits Gertrude...gay marriage...all about benefits

What's regular marriage about?

Certainly not benefits.

What does this have to do with gays?

I'm surprised you find so many benefits associated with gay marriage.

What's regular marriage about?

Suffering until you're numb.

Then you die.

Then why do they get benefits?

Libtards

Another chance to demand equal treatment...and equal benefits.

"After the Rev. Gil Gustafson was convicted of child sex abuse 30 years ago, the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis made sure he was financially secure for decades to come.

The church continued his priestly salary and health insurance, covered his living expenses and psychological treatment and paid for his education and training, according to church records and a former archdiocese accountant. It has given him jobs in the chancery, helped him establish his own consulting business and steered clients his way.

In July 2006, Gustafson was declared “disabled” based on his pedophilia, the church said. This allowed him to collect disability checks on top of his earnings as a leadership consultant.

The archdiocese’s long-standing support of Gustafson, outlined in church documents and interviews, has angered abuse victims and their families. They say it’s another sign that the church cares more about the welfare of abusive priests than the children they assaulted.

“Since when is a crime a disability?” asked Jeff Herrity, the father of a boy whom Gustafson was convicted of abusing from 1977 through 1982. “If that’s the case, everyone in prison should be disabled.”

As someone with a vested interest of the plight of children in religious setting and their vulnerability due to church doctrine ( many churches not just the catholic church) you trying to make this a gay matter is really messed up.

You gloss over the issue and propel gay issues to the forefront instead of speaking of doctrine which allows these heinous acts to continue. Priests, clergymen, laypeople, elders, should all be considered 'mandated reporters" no matter the internal doctrine of the church. Instead they make proclamations there must be two witnesses to abuse and or shuffle the problem to another diocese and or area.

I am familiar with new breed of psychologists who wish to re-label pedophiles. Some feel they will look upon them with sympathy instead of distain and this has nothing to do with gay people at all. Get over it. Being gay does not mean they desire children, a priest that abuses little boys is not gay, but a pedophile.

He can be both, and usually a nice guy and good with children. It happens and that's kind of the problem. If they had normal sex lives it would be better for all of us but there will always be the bad ones, as long as mankind walks the earth.
