The ONLY reason for Progressives to oppose the wall/barrier/fence is because it was proposed by President Donald Trump. Democrats know it is necessary and are lying to their voters.

We have tens of thousands of people dying from illegal opioids coming across the border the worst of which is Fentenal. Then there is human trafficking. Apparently, the Democrats don't care NOW about the enormous cost of illegal aliens to our country. So this was a crisis 12 years ago, but it isn't today. How did that happen?

We spend hundreds of billions of dollars educating, providing health care and numerous other benefits. Why do Democrats think that's a grand thing but securing our problem border is not. How does that work? How is that good for America?

Why are Democrats afraid to face reality and get over the 2016 election they blew?

The fact of the matter is, the Dem Candidate was so wrong, it went off the scale. Trump was also off the scale wrong. He played fear and mayhem along with a little help from his friends. You are using this as a justification for all this nonsense. His wrongness should not be put up with. And the fear that he is trying to spread is slowly subsiding.

Remove the fear factor and what you have is a lying, sniveling little kid that wormed his way into the most important position in the world. Now, that is even more scary than the drivel he keeps spreading.

There aren't thousands of Terrorists flowing over the border. If they were, heaven help us all and the bombs would be going off more than a few each day. The real terrorist threat right now is Cyber Terrorism and that can be done from anywhere in the world. Mostly, it's done for you buddy in Russia.

You will notice that the Hordes of People invading the US has run it's course pretty well. They've had their 15 minutes. Now, they are Mexico's Problem. And Mexico is talking about building their own wall. But their wall would be a couple of hundred miles and stop the ones south of them from coming north. Yes, they are going to pay for a wall just not Trump's wall. Trump's wall would have to be more than 3000 miles (733 miles have been built and since he has taken office, not one inch has been built even though it's been budgeted). Yes, Margeret, Trump stopped building the wall that has been being built since 2008. It's already budgeted by law. You people are covering for the fact that that money is going somewhere else and it ain't for border security. Trump is playing some kind of a shell game. I already posted the bill that passed both the house, senate and was signed into law by Bush, Jr. that authorized the building of the wall plus the expansion of the border security. Obama expanded that even further during his tenure. In the last 10 years, the illegal border crossings have gone down to a trickle since the only real places they can not run into some kind of border security, whether it's a physical wall, sensors, or boots on the ground, is some of the most dangerous and inhabitable pieces of terrain on Earth and most die trying it. The fact remains that MOST illegals come into the United States legally on a Green Card or Work Visa and overstay their time and just never leave. Build that wall won't do a damned thing about that. Not one dime from Trump is being increased to track these people and deport them when their visas run out. Instead, he's got you so afraid that some illegal dude with a machete will cross the border illegally at the border and murder your family your their sleep.

Newsflash: Illegal Immigrants have a lower crime rate than people born here in the US of A. Yes, some of the really bad actors are illegals but most of the bad actors are US Citizens. Shall we start deporting US Citizens now? I elect we deport you to someplace like Yemen. Except, as bad as Yemen is, it never did anything bad enough to me to deserve that. When our court and Law Enforcement System is not linked with Mexico then this will and does happen. You honestly believe that if they are wanted for a felony in Mexico that the Mexicans will just turn them loose if they are turned over to the Mexican Authorities in chains? Instead, we put them on a plane or a bus and ship them across the border without any thought. Not one dime is being spent to do that "Border Security" and even a wall won't make a damned bit of difference.

The Terrorists that flew those planes into the Trade Center and the Pentagon were all green card legal. They didn't sneak across the border. They flew in commercial air. Same goes for almost all "Terrorists" that have tried to operate in the US. Hell, most of the "Terrorists" have been US of A born. We Export Terrorist. Maybe the rest of the world needs to start deporting all Americans because they might be a terrorist. But the rest of the world is a bit saner than you are right now.

The Wall only works in certain areas. There are probably over 1000 miles of border that the wall cannot be built and we are halfway there already. The wall has been being built a few miles each year as well as Sensors and more boots on the ground until now. They've stopped building the additional wall even though it's budgeted for. They've stopped expanding the Border Security Sensors. They've stopped doing maintenance on the wall like they did in the past even though it's budgeted. Where is this money going? That must be one hell of a party at where ever Trump decides to go golfing because it's not being spent for expanding Border Security like it's supposed to. Yes, Margeret, that is already budgeted for. Okay, it could use a larger budget and I think the 1.6 billion would be a huge shot in the arm. But trying to hold the tax payers up for 53 billion at 5 billion a year above and beyond what's already budgeted for it is downright criminal.

So stop with the trying to scare us already. That song and dance is just about over. The music stopped but you keep dancing like it's still playing. The Public is pretty wise to the routine. Here, let's look up the term Sociopath.

The only difference is, a normal Sociopath operates alone but a Narcissist has other Narcissists that help him do his bidding. They pick out a target person or group and go after them with zeal with lies and more. The more they can demonize the target the happier they are. And, yes, when they are doing this, they are ecstatic. But when the Target doesn't allow it to happen, you should see the anger. It isn't pretty. A Sociopath just moves on but a Narcissist goes crazy when that happens. If you notice that this type of behavior is not sane, it's not. Not by a long shot. And you will notice that Trump fits EVERY point of the definition of a Sociopath and a Narcissist.

Neither Trump nor the Dems said a single new thing, they both rehashed the same old talking points.

What the fuck? I thought for sure that Trump had some big major thing up his sleeve...what a disappointment.

Chancy were exactly what we thought they were going to, but I was not sure at first if Chuck was actually alive.

What we saw was further confirmation of the fact that Trump and his supporters are wrong.

The Democratic position is perfectly appropriate and reasonable, allocating funds that will result in actual border security, unlike Trump’s ‘wall.’
