Shortly after 1 p.m., Attorney General Patrick Morrisey said his office would not defend against the lawsuit challenging the state’s same-sex marriage ban and Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin said he would direct state agencies to follow the law as interpreted by the U.S. Supreme Court, which recently refused to hear appeals of several challenges to marriage bans in other states.'

I get the same anecdotal argument every time. Many infertile couples don't discover they're infertile until after they're married. Homos know they have a similar issue beforehand as a result of nature. What's more, heteros can adopt and provide a mom and a dad which is best for children, as empirically proven. Homos can't.

“When the Supreme Court takes this up, all of the folks who get married between now and then will likely be voided,” Whitt said. He said he hopes to see an eventual amendment to the U.S. Constitution banning same-sex marriage.'
