What If Trump Has Been a Russian Asset Since 1987?

A little snip from the opening. Read the rest at the link and discuss.
The unfolding of the Russia scandal has been like walking into a dark cavern. Every step reveals that the cave runs deeper than we thought, and after each one, as we wonder how far it goes, our imaginations are circumscribed by the steps we have already taken. The cavern might go just a little farther, we presume, but probably not much farther. And since trying to discern the size and shape of the scandal is an exercise in uncertainty, we focus our attention on the most likely outcome, which is that the story goes a little deeper than what we have already discovered. Say, that Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, and Paul Manafort told their candidate about the meeting they held at Trump Tower with a Russian lawyer after they were promised dirt on Hillary Clinton; and that Trump and Kushner have some shady Russian investments; and that some of Trump’s advisers made some promises about lifting sanctions.

But what if that’s wrong? What if we’re still standing closer to the mouth of the cave than the end?

The media has treated the notion that Russia has personally compromised the president of the United States as something close to a kook theory. A minority of analysts, mostly but not exclusively on the right, have promoted aggressively exculpatory interpretations of the known facts, in which every suspicious piece of evidence turns out to have a surprisingly innocent explanation. And it is possible, though unlikely, that every trail between Trump Tower and the Kremlin extends no farther than its point of current visibility.
Wishful Thinking for Wussies

Trump isn't anybody's flunkie. But Dimmercracks would love it if he were such a pushover.

ok and obama was born in Kenya

If you're serious about that then you show all intelligent people just how down right stupid you are.

Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961.

Kenya didn't exist in 1961.

Kenya became a nation in 1963.

So how can Obama be from a nation that didn't exist when he was born?

If you had paid any attention when you were being taught world history in school you would know that Kenya didn't exist when Obama was born. But it's obvious to me you didn't pay much attention and probably were one of those people who cut class and spent your days getting high.

Your claim would be more believable if you had claimed he was from Mombasa.

Stop being lazy and go find out what or where Mombasa is. I'm not going to waste my time spoon feeding common knowledge to a stupid person who is way too lazy to find truth for themselves.

Its just a liberal rag op ed begging for this kabuki theater investigation to last forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.............
The world doesn't give a crap about the investigation.
I think some votes may be affected if evidence shows a compelling case of Trump actively seeking and getting Russian help.

But the dems have to win all the states they did last time and PA, Mich and Wisc. They have no hope for Fla barring some real game changer.

"I think the world would be very different if unicorns appeared and shit glittery rainbows everywhere."

No one's seen the slightest hint of a "compelling case" so far,
Certainly it is compelling to anyone who reads the papers

Yeah, the operative word is "case", Chuckles. You're still blathering about entertainment, whatever words you misuse to do so.

He can only be impeached if he commits a crime.

Let's say he DID collude with Russia to win the election. That's not a crime. There is no such crime as "collusion."

So millions of dollars are being wasted to investigate whether or not Trump did something that's not a crime. Um ok....sure money well spent.

Yeah....fuck ethics.....the orange kool-aid is mighty tasty........lol

LOL, right where it should be, you phony-e-baloney, AKA......full of sh**-)

A racist? what exactly has he done to be a racist?

Nothing....nothing.....Put your head right back up Trump's ass....Its safer for you there.

Is Donald Trump Racist? Here's what the record shows
You actually think that proves he's a racist? lol, the democrat party as now become a laughing stock and should be mocked.
Donald Trump has been obsessed with race for the entire time he has been a public figure. He had a history of making racist comments as a New York real-estate developer in the 1970s and ‘80s. More recently, his political rise was built on promulgating the lie that the nation’s first black president was born in Kenya. He then launched his campaign with a speech describing Mexicans as rapists.

He talks about and treats people differently based on their race. He has done so for years, and he is still doing so. Racists praise him while organizations dedicated to equally treatment of minorities condemn him. The lists of his racist comments and behavior is too long to list, I could go on for pages but here are just few examples:

  • Trump’s real-estate company tried to avoid renting apartments to African-Americans in the 1970s and gave preferential treatment to whites, according to the federal government.
  • Trump treated black employees at his casinos differently from whites, according to multiple sources. A former hotel executive said Trump criticized a black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks.”
  • In 1989, Trump took out ads in New York newspapers urging the death penalty for five black and Latino teenagers accused of raping a white woman in Central Park; he argued they were guilty as late as October 2016, more than 10 years after DNA evidence had exonerated them.
  • He began his 2016 presidential campaign with a speech disparging Mexican immigrants as criminals and "rapists."
  • In December 2015, Trump called for “a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States,” including refusing to readmit Muslim-American citizens who were outside of the country at the time.
  • Trump said a federal judge hearing a case about Trump University was biased because of the judge's Mexican heritage.
  • In June 2017, Trump said 15,000 recent immigrants from Haiti “all have AIDS” and that 40,000 Nigerians, once seeing the United States, would never "go back to their huts" in Africa.
  • At the White House on Jan. 11, Trump vulgarly called for less immigration from Haiti and Africa and more from Norway.
  • He frequently criticizes prominent African-Americans for being unpatriotic, ungrateful and disrespectful.
  • During his campaign he re-twitted unverified information from White Nationalist on White Genocide.
  • White Nationalists praise Trump as most honest president since Washington.
  • The KKK official newspaper supports Trump for president.
  • David Duke, former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan insist that the president-elect’s policies line up with the former KKK leader’s vision for America.

Can't impeach based on an ethics violation.

Otherwise we could have impeached Obama for handing guns to drug cartels.

But you willingly ran up there and shoved your face into the unwashed asshole of a clinton and the democrats. You’re loyal, I’ll give you that. But please get a shower. You smell horrible.

Neither one of you fools bothered to read the link, it's hundreds of words and you dismissed it in seconds.
I did read it, I saw it on real clear politics, it is a laughable fantasy. You guys laughed at Trump, but now you cant get rid of him. You guys don't focus on ideas, you just call someone a racist and expect them to resign and wander off into the sunset. Trump said fuck no, I'm no racist and you guys don't know how to handle it. You've never had to prove you opponents were racist and now that Trump requires proof, you have some of the dumbest responses.
Since Race is an extremely elastic concept for many people which includes the entire human "race", segments of it, ethnicity, biases based on sex, sexual preference, religion, political views, and just plain bias on just about any subject, you have to define exactly what you mean by "racist" otherwise the term just means you're really a bad guy.
No the term SHOULD mean someone who thinks one race is superior to another and who acts on it (violence, denial of service, ect).
What it is now, is you don't agree with me, you are a racist.
I don't believe in affirmative action because I don't think it's necessary nor helpful nowadays. To the left because I oppose racism (promoting one group above another), I am racist.....

So I don't believe jokes are racist.....get a sense of humor
I don't believe saying an epithet is racist.....people get mad and say stuff..whatever
Denying service because someone is black or white or Asian, is racist, not cool
promoting someone or giving someone a job based on color is racist.....which is why I don't like affirmative action
Your definition of a racist, "someone who thinks one race is superior to another and who acts on it (violence, denial of service, ect). Falls in line with the dictionary definition of racism,
prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior.

However, I don't think a physical act is necessary component of racism. Racist language has power, particular if comes from right place and often creates hatred and inspires violence.

I think racism in it's most liberal use of the word should be rejected by people but that doesn't mean government should always be involved.

The word racism is misused often where a more appropriate term would be homophobia, xenophobia, or religiophobia. However, since terms such as these are not commonly used we use racism to describe all types of prejudice and discrimination.

I've argued both for an against affirmative action. To argue for affirmative action, you have accept that racism, which is what affirmative action is can sometimes serve a greater good, providing education and jobs for a minority that would otherwise remain at the bottom of the socioeconomic scale.

For example, a black couple may have good grades but not good enough to make it into the better schools. With affirmative action they may get admitted and if they work hard and graduate, they have a shot a good job. Likewise they get a leg up when applying for a job. So the couple has a better financial and educational footing so when they raise a family it will be in a better neighborhood with better schools so kids get a better education and parent will able to do better job of parenting. And so it goes from generation to generation. Well, that's the theory. Does it work? Yes and No. There are studies that go both ways.

Today, it does not appear affirmative action is need in most of the country.

Wow, it's amazing how the RWNJs deflected this thread from it's OP!

Here's the deal...

D. Trump is very likely a Russian intelligence asset.
The only way Donald Trump would be a Russian agent is if he didn't know he was an agent or it was to his advantage to be one.

Trump is certainly not a communist. Hell, he's hardly even a republican. At one time he considered running as democrat. Trump does what is best for Trump. He doesn't give a flying fuck about Making America Great. It's a slogan that got him elected.

What Trump really cares about is the name Trump. He got that from his dad. Any attack on Trump has to be defend. Any attack on the US has to be defended because it's an attack on Trump. Trump is a not a racist because he's white. He's a racist because Trump's race must be superior. To say he's is a narcissist is an understatement.

Trump is a not a racist because he's white. He's a racist because Trump's race must be superior. To say he's is a narcissist is an understatement.

No he is not a Communist and neither is Putin the pure, traditional meaning. He, and Putin are megalomaniacs who despise democracy and therefore are suitable bedfellows .
