What is it with black folks and this thing for playing dominoes ?

If this sounds like a racist question I apologize - it wasn't my intention to stir up any
hard feelings. I'm really curious to know what's the attraction ? Is it the gambling aspect, is it just an addicting game, has it become more of a social thing , all of the above, none of the above ? I really want to know because first I'm not a gambler and I honestly think it's a boring game.

For social interaction and skill? You need to be good with mathematics. I find it boring as well..but then I don’t like math so...
It is definitely a game of skill. Try playing online.

Something to do besides playing poker or rummy for the 12,465,590th time. My parents played Moon, don't know why. I like Spades and Bridge, but play poker for the money when we go to Vegas, which used to be about 3-4 times a year. Haven't gone even once this year for the obvious reasons. Regular Poker is in decline now, Baccarat is getting all the big bettors' attention nowadays, and they're playing in Asia a lot more as well.

I forgot about Scrabble....my Grandparents used to like that and Casino .( I used to remember the rules to that but it's been like 40 years since I played)

Thanks to the magic of YouTube....

I always wondered why my mum and her friends played Mah Jong

Never played Mah Jongg; knew it was a big deal of a fad in the 1920's or so, and my Asian friends at Uni were fanatics, even had brawls over it, so there must be gambling involved.

Yes, mine played Casino too; been a long time since anyone ever mentioned that game; don't recall ever playing it myself.

Why do whites here do this? Our names, our hair, what we eat, why we play dominoes? This is bullshit that needs to go to the rubber room.

The only thing that interests me is my personal safety.

I want to know why an unusually large percentage of their young gentlemen commit so many violent crimes.

What games they like to play is simply none of my business.
