What Is The Democratic Road Map To The White House?

I predicted Trump would lose in the primaries.

Bigly

(and hoped HIllary would)

Stat and me had debates for a year and a half before the 2016 election. You can see one of his quotes in my sig. :)

The Democrat formula for decades has been to get 40% of the white vote and 90% of the black vote. If they hit those numbers they win most elections. Obama was able to do this, but in the 2010, 2014, and 2016 elections they were not and lost big time. Right now the Dims struggle to get 1 in 5 white men to vote for them, and they barely get a 1/3rd of white voters overall to vote for them.

I do not see the Dims winning back white voters anytime soon unless they drastically change their message and do a lot of outreach to white voters they have alienated.

They must get 40% of the white vote or they lose. It really is that simple.

Funny that no Dim supporters will talk about why their party hates white voters. Wonder why? Do they think white voters are too stupid to realize that they and hated and held in utter contempt by the so-called Dimocrap elites?

How do Dims think they can consistently win any elections pissing on white voters and calling us all deplorable and racist?

and yet she got 3 million votes more than your orange sociopath.

now who's dim, lowlife?

You lost dimwit because that is not how we elect our President.:rofl:Three urban areas contain 40 million voters. They do not represent the USA.

Hillary won 57 counties in America. Trump won over 3,000. That is America. Understand?

whatever their path may be rest assured they plan to keep it under wraps until the time comes.
This plan worked very well for the Republicans. In 2014, they insisted on not telling anyone what they would do if they won the majority in Congress.

All we knew was that they would repeal ObamaCare. And then what? Nobody knew.

And we still don't.

Trump may not even get the GOP nomination in 2020
37% approval leaves him open to a challenge

He will drop out because of heel spurs
Trump had less than 30% support during the 2016 GOP primaries. And that was all he needed, since it was more than any of the other 16 candidates had.

If Republicans are dumb enough to send 16 candidates out again...Trump will win

If Republicans say....This guy or Trump
Fat Donnie doesn't have a chance

Depends on the 'guy'

Trump has made Ted Cruz look attractive. So don't ever say Trump does not achieve the impossible.

Got this one in the prediction data bank. Should be comedy gold in a year or so.

Alinsky lives in the radical left. If you keep saying "Trump is an idiot" you will start believing it even though the DOW is up more than 5,000 points and unemployment is at it's lowest in 17 years. Lefties are so consumed with incoherent hatred that they don't even understand what hypocrites they are.

The big problem for the Ds is that their blue wall strongholds are built on huge income disparities similar to those in Latin America. With the growing loss of financial intermediaries like the old S&Ls and everyone going online you can seriously ask what is keeping NYC in existence besides momentum?

It is no longer a riverport connected to the Great Lakes, it is no longer a seaport because container ports are unsightly.

If you want to see shows Vegas, Nashville, cruise ships and what not are more convenient.

Shopping is now done online.

What is the upside of NY, CA or IL?

And what value do the Ds add?

I think a focus on education, jobs, fair trade, wealth inequality, and campaign finance reform are all problems that they can run on.
That's exactly what Clinton ran on. How'd that work out?
I don't think the dems need apologize for issues. It wasn't all Hillary, or all about her trying to make Trump the issue, when her husband was as much or more of a
"creep." 8 years of Obama didn't make things better in the rural rust belt. 3 more years of Trump will see Medicaid cuts and couple of hundred bucks in tax cuts for those who pay any income tax.

The reality is the economy is fundamentally changing. McConnell's vision is a return to W. Ryan's vision is the Kochs.

My folks live on the Arizona-California border. The middle class is largely fleeing Southern California because of sky high taxes and a generally hostile environment to business and successful people. It is truly becoming a sanctuary State with all that implies.

Yes, Trump is wildly unpopular. Yes, Trump is an idiot. Yes, Trump is a pathological liar. Yes, Trump is in love with Vladimir.

Quack, quack, quack.

But...if he chooses to run for re-election (which he may not), he will win again if the Democrats put up a corrupt, entitlement-minded, loser again.

In 2018, the Democrats will probably gain some ground with their "Stop Trump!" platform. That worked in Alabama and Virginia recently.

Exactly what it is about Trump they want to stop has yet to be defined.

But in 2020, the Democrats better have something for their bumper stickers besides "Stop Trump!" They better have a better plan to Make America Sane Again.

"We'll raise tax rates back to where they were."

"We'll let illegal Mexicans back into the country."

What, exactly, do they have?

At this point, I do not see a Democratic road map to the White House. At all.

I hope to Christ the Democrats aren't hanging all of their hopes and dreams on a timely economic crash.

"We'll raise tax rates back to where they were."

"We'll let illegal Mexicans back into the country."

Those two and also, "We're gonna take your guns"
Nice, Three things that nobody has said. Well done. #FakeNews

We'll have to wait for Bernie's platform, eh?

This is a very fair analysis. The economy is fundamentally changing. Trump has helped temporarily because he's loosened regulations and eased up on corporate taxes. Corporations had trillions sitting on the side lines during the Obama years because they knew he was anti-business and anti-capitalism.

Much of that money is now flooding back into the economy which is helping tremendously.....for now. But it does not change the underlying fundamentals. We will fall back to Earth, but hopefully it is after Trump gets elected to his second term. :)

The Democrats are all about making more Americans more dependent on the government.

On the other hand , the modern day pseudoconservatives want more Americans to be taxed.
