Whenever there's a mass shooting and people start talking about changing policy to do something about it, the right trots out and says that it's not the time to discuss changing policy because the wounds are fresh and everyone is angry, upset, emotional.
This argument can be used in the exact same way in the wake of terrorist attacks.
Please tell me why the argument can be made for mass shootings but not terrorist attacks.
