Republicans led by Newt Gingrich forced him to balance budget. Economic boom was because U.S. manufacturers built up their warehouse inventory to cover transfer to Mexico. I know this first hand.

Funny cause republicans control the government and the deficits are increasing. Clinton ran on balancing the budget and it happened. Bottom line, lots of great things were done under Clinton.
