What Will Obama and Bill Clinton’s Legacy Be?

16yrs peace and prosperity (more or less)
Clinton signed NAFTA and millions lost their jobs. Obama was sooooo good...his legacy was rejected by the election of Donald J. Trump! :21:

Clinton had an incredibly strong economy. We had welfare reform. Crime plummeted. Balanced the budget. It was one of the best times we have had.

Yep that creation of Reagan and Bush finally got passed by a GOP led Congress...
George H. W. Bush handled end of Cold War and collapse of Soviet Union brilliantly. Got rid of drug runner Noriega in Panama, and ended Vietnam Syndrome with brilliant victory over Iraq with a multinational force. Did not practice regime change in Iraq. His son however was a blithering idiot.
WTF does that have to do with Millard Fillmore?

The 10 worst presidents: Besides Trump, whom do scholars scorn the most?
Dead last. That’s where a group of presidential scholars placed Donald Trump in the pantheon of American presidents

Sales on Prep H are going to skyrocket.
For Democratic professoriate still crying over Hillary’s complete destruction in 2016.

#44 — Donald Trump

Dead last is an accomplishment for a guy who’s only been president for a year. Of course, it’s easy to attribute that to our political polarization and the liberal bent of many presidential scholars. But those who identified themselves as Republican-leaning also rated Trump as a lousy commander in chief, though not the worst. They ranked him #40, awarding him a better spot than the crew of wretched men who led us into the Civil War. The nation, after all, isn’t at war with itself. Yet.
Only been POTUS for a year. Dead last. You can’t see a bias? :aug08_031:

It was a great decade followed by a nightmare of illegals getting our work during "W".

Can't rate a guy on his presidency when he hasn't served it yet...

Obama - worst President ever

Slick Willy - most scumbag President ever

Crooked Hillary - most corrupt Presidential candidate ever

The NAM (an organization that is often cited by Cons as being happy about the tax cuts) said the following about NAFTA:

NAFTA went into effect in 1994, and since then, the United States has sold three times as much to Canada and Mexico. In 2016, the two countries alone purchased one-fifth of all manufactured goods made in the United States. This is a big deal for manufacturing workers and their families because those sales support jobs here at home—a lot of well-paying jobs. Sales of manufactured goods to Canada and Mexico, made possible through NAFTA, support the jobs of more than 2 million manufacturing workers.

When someone says that we need to abandon NAFTA to support manufacturing workers, they have the facts backward. It’s certainly true that NAFTA could use some improvements. After all, it’s more than 20 years old. A tune-up, if done right, could help, especially if it’s focused on eliminating remaining barriers to selling U.S. goods, raising standards to U.S. levels, cutting red tape and improving existing enforcement tools.

Those would be steps in the right direction. However, we should not blame manufacturing’s challenges over the past few decades on NAFTA. NAFTA has been a powerful tool to strengthen our industry and help manufacturers in the United States nearly double our production.

I don't really give a care.. It's all a bunch of overblown cheerleading.

Somewhere down on the list. Perhaps around Millard Fillmore.
Millard Fillmore: Forgotten
Oh please. They brought the country back from the disasters the GOP gave us when the GOP attacked America from within.
Lol. What were those? Obama bail out of Goldman Sachs? Banking system failure was a lie to save Goldman Sachs because THEY were going to collapse. Perfect ruse by GS. They control the financial markets and if they failed that monopoly would have been broken.

Your a 100% idiot. Hillary subscribed to that fake shit too. Why she lost Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Wisconsin, North Carolina...if you have ever worked a manufacturing job you would understand what assholes Clinton and Gore were.

These people call themselves historians and let political ideology cloud their view. Real professional. They are a joke.

You are the joke. Trump is one of the worst Presidents.
His legacy will trump both of theirs.

Republicans led by Newt Gingrich forced him to balance budget. Economic boom was because U.S. manufacturers built up their warehouse inventory to cover transfer to Mexico. I know this first hand.

I like Trump’s take no prisoners attitude. I think his is honest to a fault. He tel,s it like it is and does not care who he pisses off. Refreshing. Honesty with American people. The new Andrew Jackson.

Obama and Clinton will be known as 16 years of stable, sane leadership surrounded by Republican led insanity
