And you’ve been told that discriminating according to legacies - or athletic prowess, for that matter - is not illegal. Discriminating against certain applicants and favoring others IS when it’s due to race.

Even private companies are not allowed to discriminate by race.

So without ALDC preferences, WHITES would be laughed out of Harvard

Harvard is doing minority students no favors by admitting them, then having them either drop out or wash out because they're not prepared for the workload. Now, if you can show that the graduation rates for those students is on par with other students, then they're getting the education they were hoping for, but if not, all we're doing is making some liberals feel good about themselves.

I am talking about a continuing history that includes today. Also history has created today, whites have what they do because of preferences that excluded others.
