Where are the liberals gone?

There would have been a time when every liberal group in the world would have taken this case up but now liberals side with government against the citizen. I've noticed that since Obama has came into power liberals have consistently sided with the government in cases of personal liberty is in question especially when it is the personal liberty of their political opponents. How can anyone say that the government should act in an unbiased manor (equality) against anyone when so many people seem to think it is ok for it to use its authority against its political opponents. Can anyone actually say that the liberty of everyone is safe considering power shifts from one group to the other?

Do you mean by arresting or threatening to arrest people who are vocal in their opposition to the current politicians in power? The only affect is to silence the entire opposition just because of a few bad apples.

It's done by both parties when in power....read about the shake up with GOP members in Congress, it's a case of political factions and loss of power and positions because of affiliations or voting tendencies...by the same party...
