Report came out today. Trumpettes are silent.

40% under projections.

At 103,000, it is higher than March of last year.
Did you happen to mention the huge increase for Feb? Over 300,000?

Unemployment holding steady at 4.1 % - lowest in 18 years.

The U.S. economy added 103,000 new jobs and the unemployment rate held at 4.1 percent in March, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.

Average hourly pay went up 2.7 percent compared to March 2017, and the 4.1 percent and unemployment rate remains the lowest it has ever been since 2000, for the sixth straight month, the bureau reported.

Average hourly wages for all employees on private non-farm payrolls rose by eight cents throughout the month. Average hourly earnings for private-sector production and non-supervisory employees increased by four cents.

Throughout March 2018, the mining industry added 9,000 jobs, health care added 22,000 jobs, employment in professional and business services added 33,000 jobs, and manufacturing employment rose by 22,000.

The total number of people claiming unemployment benefits in the U.S. has also continued to decline since President Trump took office.

Nothing to be silent about. Things are looking good.

It’s hard to add jobs when everyone has one already.

Of course regressives will still complain about the record low unemployment and record high percent of the population in the workforce. They long for the Hussein era when there was record high unemployment, low number of people in the workforce, and record high welfare recipients.

95+ million out of the workforce
Lot of people too young, too old, too disabled, on welfare, selling drugs, prostituting, working but off the books, or just independently wealthy and lazy. Ho hum.
