batting avg isnt figured into OPS...The HR guy will easily lead. HRs are 4 bases each.
And the HR guy will have more walks.
It wouldn't even be close.
Adam Dunn once had a season .800 OPS while batting 204.

ruth pitched in the dead ball era....pitchers had a big advantage with that lumpy ball they used...Bonds, then Ruth. Many MLB pitchers said Gibson was as good as Ruth.
Sure it is. The math is part of both OBP and SLG.batting avg isnt figured into OPS...

Decrease your BA, and both of those stats decrease.
It sure is.it isnt used to figure it out....
It sure is.
Hits and ABs are both used in both stats.
Power is much more valuable, which is part of why the OPS stat.is valuable.
You're little team of swat hitters would get obliterated at any level above Little league..
i just think RBI's are more important for the team winning...like Kyle Schwarber in 22, he hit 46 homers leading the league but only had 94 RBI's...
someone has to get on and someone to hit them in....RBI + RUNS scored. Cardinals did well when players went over 200. Coleman, Herr, McGee, Smith, Smith, Pendleton etc.
