Reagan had a Democratically controlled House the whole 8 years and a Democratically controlled Senate part of the time but he managed to get things done. Bush 43 had a Democratically controlled House and Senate the last two years of his presidency and was personally blamed for EVERYTHING that went wrong that two years.
