OK, just a quick quiz to test your music knowledge - who wrote the line in a song that went "The dead are the living in the age of the gun............." Hints: Popular 70's band with two MAJOR hits still being played today. What's the name of the song and who wrote it? He said the song was kind of an Orwellian thing after he read the book "1984."

Good lookin' out Shroom. I'm a Kansas fanatic and that song has been on my mind a lot lately - gee, I can't imagine why! Kerry sure called that one!
I was always a big fan o'.....

I (first) caught them in Harrisburg, PA (Farm Show Arena), back in '74; promoting their 1st album.

That would have been the same year I (first) saw RUSH & KISS at a basketball-gymnasium (backing-up Blue Oyster Cult), at Lock Haven University (PA)!!

Joe Walsh wrote the song? Wasn't that Steve Walsh who was in Kansas?
I haven't seen any writer's credit.

Kerry Livgren wrote the song - Steve Walsh, their other writer, I think had a hand in some of the music writing on that one.
