Why is the American Experiment a failure ?

First of all, until the late 1960s, the American Experiment has been a resounding success.
You can have Italians living with British, and them living with Germans, and have them living with Greeks, and then have them live with the Dutch.
Why ?
Because they're all enough on the same page to thrive together.

Somebody from China, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Argentina, Iraq, Iran, and Jordan, and Mozambique is NOT in the same library, much less on the same page.

The people in America today are entirely too different.

And you can bitch and moan all you want to...
Human beings cannot live like that.

We are either united as one, or we're divided and angry and violent.

And people not on the same page can never be united.

Its that simple.

Europeans are meant to live amongst Europeans.
Asians are meant to live amongst Asians.
Africans are meant to live amongst Africans.
South Americans are meant to live amongst South Americans.

And here's the deal.

The American Experiment was a great success because of its amazing Constitution. And ultimately it became a victim of its own success, as we became too fat, happy, lazy, and entitled.

Our leaders failed us through our political system, and our culture failed us by dragging standards and expectations down at every opportunity. And you can see the decay in our culture by what now "entertains" us.

We're not going to end up in a trash heap, but our self-inflicted wounds are already dragging us down into comparative mediocrity.

The failure is that people whose cultures are so dissimilar that the only thing holding them together is the force of law, fail. Lacking ties that bind, the laws need to be stronger, and cover more and more of the trivia of ordinary life. Such a society cannot survive for very long. It will eventually tear itself apart.

Nah, it's culture.

A white guy, a black guy, or a Latino guy, that does exactly what Asians do, will have the same result that Asians have.

Why is it when you go to high school orchestra, you always see the top chairs with Asians in them? Because their parents say "No, you practice. No video games, you practice. No you can't go out with friends, you practice"

What do average parents say? "just be home by 6". Duh. As if there's no connection between that actions you take the results you get.

You take a black kid, and study the snot out of him, like Clarence Thomas, and he'll end up in the Supreme Court. You think that was magic? Read his biography. He worked like a dog growing up. It was magic. It was massive effort and drive.

And beyond that, success in life isn't dependent on IQ anyway. You read any number of books by millionaires, most are not Einstein rocket scientists.

In fact there's a guy just down the road from me. Black man, opened up his own lunch shop. Philly Steak and Fries. How did he get there? He purchased one of those little gas grill carts, and started grilling up steak outside some businesses. He did that for years. Saved up some money, and opened an abandoned building on a busy corner. Now he's got his own store.

How'd he do that? Did he go to Harvard and get a Ph.D in business science? No, he just worked like a dog. He's a one man show. People go there just to see him fly around, cooking and serving.

Now I work at a place where there's a guy there who barely works ever. He comes out, and puts his feet up on a desk, complaining to us how he doesn't get a raise. Apparently sucking air consistently, is grounds for a raise in his book. He'll never get a raise or be promoted. He barely qualifies as 'chair sitter'.

So I don't buy this idea that IQ is lower or higher depending on race, nor do I believe that IQ is even an important factor.

The end of this month, the 29th - day shift - I will be the Foreman / Shift supervisor. A shift supervisor is going to his stepdaughters wedding, and he asked me if I would cover for him. I said yes.

The other two supervisors whom are off... have other things going on, and are beyond being "Forced" to work. So me......little ole Blue Shirt ( worker bee ) ; will be the Shift Supervisor ( a "White Shirt" ) for a day. I will do the same job, and have the same responsibility's....but will not receive pay for working as a shift supervisor, as I have done so about a half a dozen...or more times in the past.

It is one of many-many notches I have marked against certain individuals ; whom fail to stand up for subordinate personnel, and would not do what we have to do, and would not deal or be treated like myself...and some others have been. But when we present a valid complaint or a valid argument....we are in the wrong.

A "Higher echelon" individual simply cannot go to work, set in an office and let "The area" take care of itself. It happens. They cannot spend time on the computer, type emails, attend meetings, go to meetings off work site, take 90 minute lunches.....and expect everything to be "Honky Dorry". It does not work that way. They cannot show up to work at 8am and leave at 4 pm or 4:30 pm and expect everything to run right. IT DOES not work that way !

Being in an upper echelon position means being a leader. It means standing up for subordinate personnel and being pro-active. It means being attentive to the section / department. It means stopping something from going wrong before it happens. They collect the pay, but neglect the job and its personnel.

Where is the 60s, 70s and 80s workforce?
