I think I can understand the initial "they can go fuck themselves" reaction of some, but the fact remains that these are leaders of state whether we like it or not, and they rule over people who probably deserve better. We've talked ourselves into thinking that conversation equals capitulation or agreement. That's silly. I think we bring ourselves down a bit when we refuse to talk with a head of state.

Washington DC should form an alliance with Russia, with President Putin, and then that evolves into a huge coalition of nations, and then all of them go in and incinerate ISIL/ISIS/Daesh and take Al-Nusra with them.

It's because Washington DC refuses to include Russia as an EQUAL PARTNER and instead chooses to demonise Russia using a lot of propaganda, mainly because Russia is a proud nation and refuses to become a vassal, that ISIL/ISIS/Daesh and Al-Nusra can't be incinerated into the abyss.
