Nothing the president could do? Get serious. The one thing that any national leader can do in any epidemic is support preventive measure and show empathy for victims. Trump never, never should have opposed the his CDC guidelines. Mask wearing, social distancing, and preventing large gathering was the only known means of reducing the of the spread of virus. Trump questioned whether masks worked, objected to the shutdowns, suggested phony treatments, mocked the wearing masks, and even cast doubts on the epidemic. Trump even went so far as holding numerous large rallies with no attempt to enforce mask wearing or socials distancing.

One would have to be blind not see what Trump was doing. He saw the virus and the resulting economic chaos as an impediment to his re-election so he downplayed the seriousness of the virus and encourages his followers to fight against the very guidelines he initially supported. And the end result, 81 million voters rejected Trump and over 360,000 deaths stand as testament to Trump's failure.

Your claims are absolutely ridiculous. HCQ at the time was the only possible thing we had that was working on many patients. Trump couldn't tell people to run out and buy it because it's prescription only, and Trump told people to let their doctors make the decision whether they wanted to use it for treatment. Trump mocked masks at the beginning because people wearing them so early was overkill. Outside of making fun of Biden because he was on camera wearing a mask when nobody was near him, I dare you to find me Trump ridiculing anybody wearing a mask when it actually became a problem.

The US President is not our parent like you Democrats would like him to be. If people didn't wear masks, that's their decision and had nothing to do with Trump. Probably some things he said are true. His remarks about Smartmatic were qualified that is, he said Smartmatic like software. Something, I have been looking for is his bio.

I watched his presentation in both Arizona and Michigan and he does not go into enough depth in his presentation nor provide any documentation to determine the validity of his conclusions. I don't trust anyone presenting a technical analysis without providing references to backup all statements and conclusion. That he did not do. Let me see if I can follow your logic here: I microorganism, a virus, a germ cannot be controlled by a US President if it only kills between 12K and 60K a year, but a virus that kills 350,000 people can be controlled? After this became a real problem, please show me where Trump instructed people to not social distance, not to wear masks. Show me how Communist cities and states did so much better with masks than American cities and states that didn't enforce them as heavily. Kids are very unlikely to get Covid yet alone spread it which is why Trump told Governors to please open up their schools. F the kids committing suicide, F the kids who are getting much less of an education, F the kids who are in deep depression. I think it's more better to describe the reasons why in chronological order:

1. Beginning in the 90s we pushed for Chinese goods, and sold through the internet. With that & 24/7 "news" we've been fucked over good. But people got rich, such as Gates, Bezos and that. More than that they realized what a great tool misinformation sold through the web would be. Soon after the left took control of the State of California, which was a giant step toward their manipulation of the country.

2. Under Obama Americans were split into two, racists by suggestion (aka the "deplorables") Vs those who play racism (PROGS). The left had always promoted victimhood, but they upped their game with that, "Me Too" etc. Me too is code for PROGS being the culprits and accusers, BTW. If PROGS say it they're lying and/or doing worse, in this manner they're informative.

They don't disband the Pandemic Response Team or close down liason offices in countries the next disease is likely to come from, like Trump did.

We have flu shots that many people decide not to get every year. We have masks that some people decide not to wear. However no President can instruct people to do either.
