Why do Congressional Republicans think they can't get voted out of office?

If the incumbent is voting like a D he needs to get the boot. A D can be voted out after the message is sent.

No, they need to be primaried, especially if in a deep red area. The election is then during the primary, and we throw them out.

Those in areas with good representation, need to help by digging in their wallets for 5 bucks, to help finance the insurgent candidate. Tricky Mitch will use his pac. We have to give them a chance, and in the process, throw the bums out.

We have enough red areas to control congress for a very, very, long time. It is just if the people in control do our bidding or not. Send many messages, and when they have a primary opponent, send them a few bucks. The rinos are almost as bad as the libs. Teach them a lesson!

A 97% incumbency retention rate in the House and a 90% rate for the Senate in 2016. This is why they are not afraid of getting voted out of office.

the 'party' funds the incumbent...in a big way and tries to make certain NO ONE runs against them....

in the general election, they will beat the D, no matter what, due to gerrymandering they set up with the districts.

so, the primary is where the R's will find change, if the GOP / RNC lets the people pick.
