If a new CEO takes charge in a company and multiple employees go public on social media bad-mouthing him/her and vowing to obstruct everything they are trying to accomplish, they SHOULD expect repercussions. I agree, government employment should not depend on allegiance to a person, but the employees should also be expected to support the goals of the company (or government in this case), not actively fight them. It's a matter of degree.

Personally, I think we need to understand how much of the country actually does want a strongman-based authoritarian federal government. Those shouts of "freedom" and "liberty" and "strength" and "personal responsibility" are just covers. There is a huge weakness in this country that many of us didn't see before.
