The Well Regulated Militia line has nothing to do with our right to bear arms. Learn your history. That provision was meant to keep Militia's in line. In that day It was common for states, or even other groups with in states, to form Militia's. The founders wanted those Militia's Regulated because they did not want some militia trying to set up their own country out west.

Learn what a comma is man, it does not mean we can only have guns as part of a Militia.

But even if you were right, Your Federal Government took away our Regulated Militia's in the last century, when they Nationalized all the State Nation Guards, Taking control of them away from the States, and allowing the Federal Government to call them up at will.

It is funny because when this law was written, part of the intent was to be able to form a group of people to defend themselves or the nation, and perhaps to even protect themselves from a possible tyrannical government within our geographic area. Now, at the time the law was written, the military of big governments and the average citizen were basically on the same level as far as weaponry goes. Musket was pretty much it and it was accessible to those in power and those citizens without a title. Level playing field. Many democratic type revolutions occur throughout the world.

Now, the people in power clearly have the upper-hand in weaponry and clearly there is massive amounts of natural rights being violated across the globe. Maybe I will need a 30 round clip someday? Can you assure me 100% that I will NEVER be in a situation where a 30 round clip wouldn't save my life? No you can't. Everyone has a right to be free and to retain their property and that is a right that comes from being human, not from your government. All government does is restrict liberty, it does not give liberty. Don't forget it.
