Zone1 Why Does God Even Hate Homosexuality?

I will think about what you said here ... or not ... By the way. Can it be you suffer prejudices? ... No ... that's not possible, isn't it? ... Or may it be you suffer what I call "abstrahotism"? Or do you have a real concrete example - for what? For "obedience"? Also obedience to the king of the Jews? In this case the Romans will crucify us together with him - but this was - as far as I know - not in the interest of Jesus the Christ, although he was not crucified alone.
Everyone has prejudices even religious people and they don't seem to want to think they do.

Could you do yourselve the favor to try to read and to try to understand what I said to you?
You used the word racist then you say there is no such thing as race so therefore you should not be using the word racist for any reason.

I don't see atheists judging people for being homosexual as much as the religious do ...

It is said Mao murdered between 20-100 million Chinese of all religions on reason of an atheistic ideology. On the other side was Alan Turing for example murdered from the Brits in a very sophisticated way. In the end he killed himselve. A very big tragedy. But what has this to do with Christians? Nothing or nothing? The whole operation "kill Alan Turing" was "scientific"- not religious.

He already did decide that.
We live in a world that increasingly strives to (supposedly) promote the idea of tolerance, but actually becomes intolerant of Christian absolutes as it does so. Whether it involves religion, behavior, or human sexuality, there is a growing anti-Christian sentiment in America and other Western nations. Ultimately, built into this “tolerance” is the concept that truth is determined by each individual, not by God. This has led many people to conclude that making judgments on anyone (especially coming from Christians) is wrong because the Bible says ”judge not” (Matthew 7:1). Interestingly enough, those who reject the notion of God or the credibility of the Bible often attempt to use God’s Word (e.g., by quoting verses out of context) to excuse their actions when they are presented with the gospel and the plight of sinners for rejecting it.
When a Christian lovingly and graciously presents the gospel to unbelievers, a judgment is made regarding their standing with God. The Bible clearly declares that all men are sinners, have fallen short of the glory of God, and are in need of redemption from their sins (Romans 3:23). This judgment is not made from the opinion of the Christian who is presenting the gospel but rather by what the Bible clearly declares.

The claim that Christians are not to judge is often made when dealing with issues such as abortion, adultery, homosexual behavior, and same-sex marriage. When a Christian says, for example, that homosexual behavior is a sin and that same-sex marriage is wrong, he or she is often met with objections like the following:

  • “Who are you to judge two people who love each other?”
  • “Who do you think you are, telling someone who they can and cannot love? You’re a sinner, too!”
  • “Someone’s private life is none of your business. Don’t judge them.”

Some people will even quote Matthew 7:1, where Christ said during the Sermon on the Mount, “Judge not, that you be not judged.” Of course, when they quote this verse in regard to such situations, they take it out of context to support their fallacious claims. When we consider the concept of judging, especially as it relates to the Sermon on the Mount, Christ tells us to be discerning, not condemning.

There are significant logical problems with the claim that believers should not make judgments. The first becomes evident when we read the context of Matthew 7:1.

Here, Christ is warning believers against making judgments in a hypocritical or condemning manner. That type of judging is a characteristic often associated with the Pharisees during the ministry of Jesus. Many people who quote “judge not” from Matthew 7:1 fail to notice the command to judge in Matthew 7:5, when it says, “Then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” The point Jesus emphasizes here is to judge yourself first before you make judgments about others. (Also, notice the discernment and judgment required in Matthew 7:15–16, 20.) In the broader context, Jesus is telling believers to be discerning when it comes to false teaching and false prophets because they “look” Christian, but their goal is to lead the flock astray (Matthew 7:15–20; Luke 6:43–45).
Thank you for admitting that Christians are intolerant. And Christians seem to be condemning homosexuals in particular all the time.

But it is not your purview to judge nor to exact some kind of punishments on the people who you are intolerant of is it?

You have no authority given to you by any god to deny anyone a place in this society in fact your god tells you to love and forgive those who "sin"

You have to realize that not everyone believes in your gods

So what?

Despots have always killed people for their own reasons. How many people have been put to death by religious institutions? And The laws against homosexuality in the UK and anywhere else they existed were directly related to religion

You never met real Nazis, extremist socialists and criminal members of other "religions" and religions, I guess. Otherwise you would be more tolerant in case of real Christians. I see by the way the most dangerous people in "wolves in sheep's clothings". A sparkle of light in an authentic heart no one is able to hear and to see from outside. The question is not what kind of character someone has - the question is not to lose the contact to our father in heaven.
I would be interested if you would point to any comment I've made that suggests I am intolerant of any Christians.

Statistics say otherwise. Believe what you must...
I haven't seen such statistics though I don't deny they exist. I don't know of any infidelities among my relatively few gay friends. The only infidelities I have been aware of over the years have been among married heterosexual friends/family.

I doubt it is something they would share with a friend.

Um the larger question is: WHY did the American Psychiatry institute suddenly proclaim HOMOSEXUALITY isn't a mental illness despite the fact certainty it 99.99% is? That is a real head scratcher. You don't need a weather man to tell which way the wind blows.
It's not a mental illness. It's a flawed heterosexual gene. Science doesn't want to dig into this too deeply for obvious reasons.

Does it ever even explain why in the Bible? Or is it simply just because God intended for men and women to be together because only they can reproduce?
It's not natural. Even tolerant libs have insulted me on this message board using homosexual references. For all their claims of a perverted "tolerance," they prove in their insults that they understand that it is evil, nasty, creepy and perverted.

Humans have many tendencies and perversions that God tells us to avoid and not give into.

Does it ever even explain why in the Bible? Or is it simply just because God intended for men and women to be together because only they can reproduce .. First the origins of religion on a none monotheistic level, male gender gods with subservient goddess was about promoting fertility. It was the rulling class dominant procreative male who invented organized religion putting his procreation and gender in his religion ,making everything else a sin. The idea was an attempted at continuing the human race through punishing gods, force. This is contrary to nature ,free will. This punishing gods were enforced against those who refused to be forced to procreate and be sexually limited themselves to one. Although monogamy and abstinence was used as a condom in the ancient world ,it was more socially enforced than legally. Then monotheist religions developed through the sun god religion in Egypt. This led to the development of the Jewish ,christian religion for the same reason, force fertility or your going to be punished.Insteas of neve seeing mount Olympus, you will never see heaven. The devil was kicked out cause it felt that heaven should have pleasure for its own sake activity . He had to create his land of pleasure. To his enemy god and gods followers that is hell ,cause they are workaholics . They can't bear any activity that does not create. Now I was being sarcastic. This is all reflection of humans fearing the human race not existing in the future. Then they become shifty and start to complain there's to much competition and want to wipe almost everyone out A recent study about Paul's condemnation of homosexuality was based on a definition. In the ancient world a wealthy elite or government official would legally marry a women to control her so his family lineage would exist to keep his money and property within the family. This was about power. If he wanted more power he legally marry a man too who would give his freedom up to be financially supported . The other man became the wife so he would not have to go to work. If the male husband wanted to make sure his make wife was submissive ,the husband would have him castrated. Worst this elite would chose an underage male,12 to 17, for more power as long as he took care of the child. Worst when the male child became an adult ,he,was not allowed to have sex with anyone. He was not allowed to get married and raise family. By this time victim was complaining against that he was not free.By the time the now older mans master died, boom! He inherited his masters property and wealth. After this he changed his mind about his master.Cause it lead to wealth. This version of homosexuality is what Paul saw .Control, power and making children grow up early and castration . So he thought that this is what homosexuality was about, remember Paul was against women's rights too, so he condemn it.

Oh some of them I know have read it because I was the teacher. :)

Let me ask you a question if you told your child not to have any cookies until after dinner and they had one anyways, would you be upset with them and scold them for it or just simply shrug it off?

Your mistake is believing that The Bible is the word of GOD rather than what it really is. A collection of writings, some of them with a foot in historical truth, all of them written by men with the goal of controlling the masses.

Matthew 7:1–2
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

The true meaning of this verse is to judge righteously. Verse 2 tells us that with what judgement we judge, we shall also be judged. So, if we judge righteously, we also will be judged with a righteous judgment.

John 7:21-24
21 Jesus answered and said unto them, I have done one work, and ye all marvel.
22 Moses therefore gave unto you circumcision; (not because it is of Moses, but of the fathers;) and ye on the sabbath day circumcise a man.
23 If a man on the sabbath day receive circumcision, that the law of Moses should not be broken; are ye angry at me, because I have made a man every whit whole on the sabbath day?
24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

In the Old Testament also, God taught that we should should judge righteously:

Leviticus 19:15
15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

It is interesting that Matthew 7:1-2 was spoken of by Jesus to his apostles and yet his apostles will become judges over the whole house of Israel.

Matthew 19:28
28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
