Yes, muskets, shotguns, pistols, artillery pieces (cannons to you) and finally PRIVATELY OWNED WARSHIPS (again for the ignorant or willfully blind; privateers). If you read the Constitution one of the delineated powers of the federal government is the issue of “letters of marque and reprisal” which were the internationally accepted authorization for privately owned warships to operate against enemies of the issuing nation or state, plus aside from the privateers, almost every merchant ship carried a number of cannons for self-defense. What caused the Battles of Lexington and Concord, the “shots heard round the world” were British troops moving to seize privately owned cannons and munitions nearby.Yes, muskets.actually its just a military designation for identification and logistic purposes and has nothing to do with the civilian world,,he had an AR-15 not an assault rifle,,,He had a fucking assault rifle. He went there as a medic with medic gear. And to protect property. Stop making shit up.He may have had a “ right” but traveling across sTate lines with a loaded weapon and meeting up with a vigilante group And taking part in a mass shooting doesn’t bode well for any self defense plea. Sounds like an organized plan to disrupt a demonstration. He Is the guilty party. He’s not a US Marshall with aut(ority to go from one state to another with an illegal firearm looking for people to shoot. It wasn’t his business to even be there. It’s premeditated homicide. He could and should be in a shit load of trouble. Not far from home. He lives 20 min away. My commune to work everyday is 20 min. He had every right to be there.he didnt murder anyone,,,it was all self defense,,,A crime is a crime. The rioters are all criminals and so is the murderer. We all need to admit this.
An armed child goes with a war weapon to a riot in a strange region far from home and self defenses some people to death. How plausible is this?
it was a defensive rifle since he was the one assaulted,,,
your definition is correct. it just terminology for what you call automatic fire with one finger movement versus multiple finger movements. Arguing on the proper name and missing the real point.
Still it is not an issue of how long you can shoot before reloading. If you shot X amount of rounds in 10 seconds versus taking a minutes to shot the same amount of rounds, it is a point lost if the barrel is pointed at you.
whats important to note is that the 2nd amendment was specifically for weapons of war,,so its all a moot point,,,
