Widely Denounced As Propaganda, al-Dura Rpt Calls Attn To 950 Other Child Killings

"...Occupiers come and occupiers go in the Middle East."
True. Unless the native population is driven from the land and the occupiers become the new natives. Which is what seems to be happening here.

Which, in the end, is better treatment than the Palestinians and their Arab neighbors promised the Jews, when promising to drown them in the Mediterranean.

Indeed, but those Palestinians did not disappear off the face of the earth.

True.

Then again, once they're squeezed-off those few scraps of land now remaining, and scattered into the surrounding Arab-nations, they will lose cohesion within a generation or two and they will slip into the realm of historical footnote. Only a couple of more decades until that happens with this so-called 'people'...

And time is not on your side, according to the map... tick, tick, tick...

Israeli Jews thrived under Ottoman Muslim rule.

Wasn't it said around 1948 that the old will die and the young will forget?

That was an extreme case of wishful thinking.

Oh, nolo contendere - no contest, PF - but the map looked a little different back then. It's taking them a few decades but they're getting there with long-term annexation plans... almost done now. Afterwards, the game changes yet again, and begins to fade away. Time will tell.

The map has not changed. The occupation just got bigger.

BTW, it is illegal to annex occupied territory.

Have it your way. Doesn't make a difference. Israel holds all the cards, and if ppl don't change their extreme positions, Israel will win the game sooner than you think.

Of course. You go right on telling yourself that. So will the Palestinians on the scene. Right up to the day when they find their baggage on their car-tops, heading to Amman or Beirut or Damascus to find a new place to live. The game is almost over. You (or those you advocate for) are not going to win. And all the Old Maps and Obsolete Legalities in the world are not going to change that outcome one little bit. Your time (and that of those for whom you advocate) is probably best spent contemplating what comes next, after the game is over, because that time is almost upon you.

America holds all the cards, Israel would be nothing without America. Israel is our biggest welfare state.

But that is not happening in Palestine. Some sources already report the numbers of Palestinians are exceeding Jews. The writing is on the wall.

Both of you are right in some ways (and I'm talking about the West Bank now). The Palestinian population of nearly 3 million is growing, but so is the Jewish settler population of about 400,000. The mostly religious settlers also have more kids per family (7 or 8), as opposed to the mostly secular population of Israel proper (my uncles and aunts have about 2 or 3 kids each). The settlers are also expanding their settlements by the day. If the Palestinians were smart, they would cut a deal immediately, and if the Israelis were to then reject an independent Palestine, then they would be calling Israel's bluff. But the key to this is the Palestinians cutting the deal RIGHT AWAY, because time is not on their side.
