As you know, India has announced its block-free status. Now the United States is counting on India as a possible counterbalance to China: they are transferring production from China to India, taking other steps. Does this mean that the US may try to bring India into a military-political alliance against China, for example, in AUKUS?

Under Trump it was a real possibility. Now India seems to enjoy their neutral status, working with Russia, importing their oil while having Indian citizens educated in America and offering labour.

Americas inroad with India is relegated to their democratic history (which England really harmed with the exporting of a police state caste system, similar to what we have in Canada today) and issues they have with Pakistan and China, Russia is trying to be the mediator of these relationships to bring them into the fold, plus, there is BRIC.

The Indian citizens definitely like America but they despise wokeism and censorship as we have been seeing for a couple of years. As I've said, social media companies in America did a great disservice to U.S interests worldwide, Musk seems to realize this.

Who knows about the future, it seems China is going to win with some room to spare unless there is a major move back to Americas core principles and constitution. India and others will have to choose if they believe America can rise again as the sole global super power, or, if its best to move on to protect their own futures.

Sorry, I didn't take into account that India is already part of Quad.
