Living west of Tucson and helping so many illegals all those years, I never ever felt threatened by any of them. By the time they got to my door, they were just fellow human beings, absolutely shot from walking for 2 and 3 weeks in the desert. Not one of them ever took a misstep. Every one of them was grateful for the food and water we gave them.

Yeah yeah yeah, they were illegal. What I saw was desperate human beings.

But that's not the point.

The gun nutters are changing the way people react to each other. None of us has any way of knowing is the guy in line next to us is some impotent blowhard just looking for a chance to prove how brave they are by blowing away the bad guy.

The gun nutters are scared shitless and their disease is spreading to normal, rational people. Now, people don't reach out to those who are hurt or less fortunate. Instead, some scared little rabbit like this guy is very likely to blow your head off.

So it would not frighten you to have someone trying to break into your home in the middle of the night never saying a word? Not at all? Why was she wandering? Why did she leave the scene of the accident? Where were the first responders given they were called to the scene of the accident? Why weren't they searching for this victim of an accident instead of complete strangers getting into their own cars and searching for her? She was wandering at least 2 hours and police or first responders could not find her? Or had they yet to respond to the initial 911 call?

Was this girl injured, drunk or high? Was she confused because of a head injury which made it so she thought she was trying to gain entrance to her own home, scaring a man who may have been trying to protect his family at 4am which she tried to break into his home? I really want to know why the first responders were not actively searching for this girl when they were called about the accident.

I will take appropriate action to keep you out of my home at 4 am as you are trying to gain entry. I would not assume that this was someone needing help. That's not the way this world is at 4AM in the dark in the most dangerous city in the US. I would hope you would do the same and given the police response time of 58 minutes for the most extreme emergencies and the other article I posted where residents state they assure their own safety since police don’t respond or their response times take more than 4 hours.
