Worst 2 year drop in life expectancy this century for the US

Biden was the one who mentioned F-15's

You realize this, right?

What constraint the violent MAGA loons must have after being baited like this

It's as almost as if they were really peace loving.

They can't fool us though, they are just trying to confuse us, right?
Are you trying to suck me into Republican stupidity? Okay I'll bite. What is F-15?

Why am I not shocked you don't know, and that you don't know Biden even said it?

Being old, Biden naturally chose an outdated fighter jet.

Biden said it was madness to cling to your guns when I have F-15's!!

It's called goading the loons

Trouble for the Left is, there seem to be very few loons on the right that take the bait, unlike the loons on the Left who torch cities and loot stores, etc.

The devil is in the details and you're not going to like it.

A lot of black liberals didn't get vaccinated and they died. I'll accept those numbers.

And you don't have to take credit for the sickly and old.

But the vast majority of other people who died of covid were Republican anti vaxers. We know 7 con talk show personalities who have died of covid after telling everyone it's a hoax.

Yes, it's Trump's fault. Trump compared wearing a mask to carrying a purse. He had social gatherings. And, he promoted alternative cures because the vaccine was a "hoax", even though he himself got vaccinated.

So this thing kept on and it mutated because not enough of us were vaccinated. Yes vaccinated could get and spread it too but we didn't go to the ICU or die. You guys did.

They say this could also cost you future elections. Because so many conservatives who do vote died. The blacks who didn't get vaccinated and died, probably didn't vote. And Herman Cain is one of those unvaccinated blacks.

You guys opposed lockdowns that may have mitigated the spread of the virus. You were not good citizens during the pandemic. Yes blame Trump and you guys.
The real detail that is being left out is that life expectancy was declining BEFORE Covid. Covid exacerbated the decline, but it is disingenuous to proclaim Covid as the main driving force. But Trump bears most of the responsibility for the Covid deaths due to a total lack of leadership. He got the shot, he should have been a real leader and encouraged his supporters to get a shot. Instead, he just saw it as another means to divide this nation. Same for lockdowns, and those PPP loans were riddled with fraud, including some of Trump's biggest supporters. For him, Covid was an opportunity to divide and conquer, and make a fast buck, if a million people die in the process, so be it.

Other drivers to declining life expectancies, top of the list, the opioid epidemic. Suicide, partially driven by that epidemic and exacerbated by Covid, a close second. Income inequality third. A horrendous infant and maternal mortality rate contribute as well. And the SCOTUS overturning of Roe v. Wade is only going to make both those numbers worse as well as increase income inequality.

I don't care about that. $1400 a month will do. That's what I'm projected to get. I won't live a long life. Lived too hard. So if I wait till 67 or whatever my full retirement age is now, I probably won't draw enough to make up for all the years I wasn't drawing.

I may tell my company at 62 I'll stay on but only 100% remotely, and half days. Turns out I can do my job even if I only work 4 hours. Maybe I won't prospect like I used to but I'll continue to bring in over $100K a month for them remotely. In the winter I'll do it in Florida. In the fall I'll do it from the hunting property up north. In the summer I'll do it from my condo on the lake. Hell, I'll even take a 50% pay cut plus more % in commission as a trade off and I'm sure they'd want it that way too.

So yea, if I don't have to, I won't give up $100K a year job when I turn 62 to start drawing $1400 a month. Unless I'm sick of working or I realize life is short and I have better things to do with my time.

My buddy retired at 53. I think he's 55 now and he's already bored. LOL
Just a rough estimate, but around 75 is the number. If you start drawing at 62, if you make it to 75, you shit yourself. But if you are making the money you claim you are making, then $1400 a month is not shit. It also equates to $2000 at month at 67. But is probably much more than that. If you are making six figures, and you haven't made six figures for ten years straight, then continue to work and not draw will only increase your benefit.

Look, I do this for a living. Every old shit figures they are going to die tomorrow. And every young turd believes they are immortal. I don't know your own personal situation, but if you reach 62 and have no chronic illnesses, then don't draw. How old was your Mom when you were born? If she was under 25, and you weigh less than three hundred pounds, don't draw at 62. Unless both your parents passed away before they reached 72, don't draw at 62.

Because I don't cling to every word Biden says looking for a fopa.

I have a lot of reasons I don't think I'm going to live a long life. One, my mom died of Alzheimers, EARLY! And I'm built like the men on her side who don't live long. And I smoke. There's more but I don't want to give too much information. Point is, I don't think I "shit myself" at 75. Even if I would have done a little better at 75, I don't think it was a BIG mistake until you've lived to be 80.

The point would be, do I need that extra $600 a month? I'm beginning to realize that there isn't that much difference between retiring with $800K and $1 million. What is the interest I'm going to make on that extra $200K? And I understand I'm going to have to take out of my savings a certain amount every year? My dad has to or he's penalized if he doesn't take like $5K a year out. Ultimately, he retired at 62 and still has more than enough. His bank account is still growing. He's not spending more than he makes just off ss and interest.

I make ALMOST $100K. I have for 5 years. I max out my 401K. The 2000's I didn't save at all. Just paid off my condo so now I'm making up for lost time. I figure when I'm 62 I will have $1 million and my condo (whatever it's worth then). Very low bills.

Now, if I still have this job, I probably won't retire at 62. It will just be nice to know I can. And I may demand more time off and shorter hours. Or else I'll retire. And they won't want that.

My neighbor just told me her sister in laws sister died of covid. In her 40's and unvaccinated.

I didn't know people were still dying of covid. They are. But just the unvaccinated.

No its not Trumps fault the freaks on the Left were screaming XENOPHOBIA when Trump wanted block Chinese from Wuhan from coming to the USA; they brought in the bug. A mask is useless.

I won't blame either party but one party argues that we should raise social security age to 70 because we are living longer. Does anyone here want to work when they are 68? Liar. And if you do WANT to, that's great. That's called a fun hobby that actually makes you money. But if you don't have to, and your job is physical, most people want to retire in their late 50's.

So Republicans need to stop arguing we need to raise social security to 70. It's bullshit.
I don't think the people who are advocating for raising the ss age to 70 want to do so because they think people want to work into their late 60's. They are advocating for it because the SS system as currently constituted is unsustainable into the future. SS is far afield from what it was originally.

My neighbor just told me her sister in laws sister died of covid. In her 40's and unvaccinated.

3 people I've talked to who you dont know and so cant verify my story told me that people they know have died of COVID recently. All under 50 and all vaccinated. I think there were like 20 of them or something. so...

Covid killed over 1 million people in the last 2 years right?
And there have been over 200,000 drug overdose deaths in the past two years, right?

Covid was a virus created in a Chinese lab and unleashed on the world. An act of war.

Overdose deaths are skyrocketing due to the chemicals being manufactured in China and brought across our open Southern border. Those allowing this are guilty of treason. Are they not?

Instead of white pills, they are now coming across in a rainbow of colors. Why do you suppose the drug traffickers are going to that trouble?

You do make it difficult to tell if you are that confused or intentionally ignorant.

EVERYTHING is on the internet now, is it an old habit of yours to rewrite history?

China slams Trump's coronavirus travel limits: 'Not a gesture of goodwill'
By Joe McDonald, Sam McNeil | Associated Press
[...]
On Friday, the United States declared a public health emergency and President Donald Trump and an order barring entry to foreign nationals, other than immediate family of American citizens and permanent residents, who visited China within the last 14 days, which scientists say is the virus’s longest incubation period.

'Unfriendly comments'
China criticized the U.S. controls, which it said contradicted the WHO’s appeal to avoid travel bans, and “unfriendly comments” that Beijing was failing to cooperate.

“Just as the WHO recommended against travel restrictions, the U.S. rushed to go in the opposite way. Certainly not a gesture of goodwill,” said foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying.

WHO Secretary-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said in Geneva that despite the emergency declaration, there is “no reason for measures that unnecessarily interfere with international travel and trade.”

Democrat Response to Coronavirus: End Trump’s Travel Bans on China, Iran
JOHN BINDER 11 Mar 2020 2:58

House and Senate Democrats are responding to the coronavirus outbreak in the United States by supporting measures to effectively strip President Trump of his authority to impose travel bans to protect American citizens.

While Trump has implemented travel bans on China and Iran — two of the most coronavirus-affected nations in the world — House Democrats are looking to roll back the president’s authority to enact travel bans from regions of the world.

Nolte: A Mere 8 Days Ago Joe Biden Was Still Attacking Trump’s Travel Bans
JOHN NOLTE 20 Mar 2020

A mere eight days ago, Joe Biden was still vocally opposing President Donald Trump’s travel bans from Europe, and even China, as racist. In other words, if Biden was the president, we can’t begin to imagine how much worse things would look in American today thanks to President Biden’s refusal to keep people out from the very same places where the Chinese coronavirus rages.

Nancy Pelosi visits San Francisco’s Chinatown to encourage people amid fears of coronavirus

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (KRON) – House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was in San Francisco on Monday spending several hours visiting Chinatown to encourage people to visit the shops and restaurants there amid fears of the coronavirus.

Business in Chinatown has really slowed down over the last month, mainly due to concerns about the coronavirus.

Pelosi did a walking tour of the area starting in the Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Shop.

She also visited several other businesses and talked to people.

Neighbors, including the owner of the cookie shop, who says the last month has been difficult.

“Business is slow. People don’t want to come, they are scared,” Kevin Chan said.

Pelosi also took this opportunity to encourage people to come back to Chinatown.

“You should come to Chinatown. Precautions have been taken by our city. We know there is concern about tourism throughout the world but we think it’s very safe to be in Chinatown and hopefully, others will come,” Pelosi said.

WATCH: NYC Mayor de Blasio Gets Nailed for Telling New Yorkers to Ignore the Wuhan Coronavirus
Beth Baumann
Posted: Mar 29, 2020 1:35 PM

On Sunday, CNN's Jake Tapper put New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) on blast for telling New Yorkers not to worry about the Wuhan coronavirus. Tapper played four separate clips of de Blasio encouraging New Yorkers to go about their daily lives, even as recently as March 13th, less than two weeks ago.

"In retrospect, is that message, at least in part, to blame for how rapidly the virus has spread across the city?" Tapper asked.

De Blasio instantly deflected.

"You know, Jake, we should not be focusing, in my view, on anything looking back, on any level of government right now," the mayor explained. "This is just about how we save lives going forward. We are all working – everybody – is working with the information we had and trying, of course, to avoid panic.w

WHO haunted by January tweet saying China found no human transmission of coronavirus

The World Health Organization (WHO) is now haunted by a tweet it sent earlier this year when it cited Chinese health officials who claimed there had been no human transmissions of the novel coronavirus within the country yet.

The Jan. 14 tweet came less than two months before WHO declared COVID-19 to be a global pandemic.

"Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China," the organization had said.

It also relied on information from Chinese health authorities who have been accused of obscuring facts and figures during the course of the outbreak.

Nursing homes have ‘no right’ to reject coronavirus patients, Cuomo says
By Bernadette Hogan and Bruce Golding
April 23, 2020 | 5:04pm

New York’s nursing homes weren’t allowed to challenge a controversial order to admit patients with the coronavirus, Gov. Andrew Cuomo said Thursday — even though it’s been blamed for spreading the deadly disease among residents

“They don’t have a right to object. That is the rule and that is the regulation and they have to comply with that,” Cuomo said during his daily briefing in Albany.

New York’s true nursing home death toll cloaked in secrecy
By BERNARD CONDON, MATT SEDENSKY and MEGHAN HOYER August 11, 2020

New York’s coronavirus death toll in nursing homes, already among the highest in the nation, could actually be a significant undercount. Unlike every other state with major outbreaks, New York only counts residents who died on nursing home property and not those who were transported to hospitals and died there.

That statistic could add thousands to the state’s official care home death toll of just over 6,600. But so far the administration of Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo has refused to divulge the number, leading to speculation the state is manipulating the figures to make it appear it is doing better than other states and to make a tragic situation less dire.

“That’s a problem, bro,” state Sen. Gustavo Rivera, a Democrat, told New York Health Commissioner Howard Zucker during a legislative hearing on nursing homes earlier this month. “It seems, sir, that in this case you are choosing to define it differently so that you can look better.”
