Would Bernie Sanders Win The Presidency In 2016?

Bernie Sanders can win. Make no mistake. There are a lot more people for him then against him.

Comedy, I like it.

He has a track record.

yes he does, the track record of a reliable Democrat. He's no Socialist.

Here is the deal, Zander. He is pro Vet, pro Family, pro Elderly and pro working class. To date, the right has failed to produce anything remotely looking like a game plan. Instead, it was far more important to spend countless hours focused on Obama. Not a fan. It was far more important to spin a bunch of anti liberal crap or repeat a bunch of crap on communism or socialism. They have very clear definitions but ignoring them was funner.

I am not, as many people on the left are not, pro Hillary or pro Democrat. He votes mostly with the Democrats because what other option is there?

He votes with the Democrat party more than any other Senator. He actively campaigns AGAINST 3rd party candidates and endorses Democrats. He takes PAC money from Democrats. That's independent?

He's an independent. It looks like this:
Chained CPI An economic moral disaster TheHill

He will NEVER be viable on a National level.
Again, that's what was said about FDR.

If you are right it is only because things aren't bad enough yet. But if we don't adopt some strong socialist policies and start prosecuting those who are robbing us blind we are in for something at least as bad as The Great Depression and possibly much worse. And then we will be looking for a Bernie Sanders and hoping there is one.

So why wait? It's time to take hold of the wheel and turn it hard. The coming choice is Bernie Sanders or business as usual.

Toss the brick!

If you research Sander's record, you'll realize Bernie's brick is made of styrofoam.....

No. Go back and read the article and then tell me just how many bitches that this twit has are actually workable. He's not considered a socialist to socialists.

He's not an independent and he's not even a Socialist. He's just a plain old Democrat. If he runs for POTUS it will be as a DEMOCRAT. How does that help the growth of an Independent party?
He is the farthest thing from a "plain old Democrat." At most he may be regarded as a Social Democrat, which is a lot better than anything we have now.

Study the progress made by the working class during the socialist-oriented era of the 40s through the early 80s and research the political mechanics that made it possible. Those were the most prosperous and productive decades in our history. That era gave rise to the Great American Middle Class. Then came Ronald Reagan and the new capitalist revolution.

And here we are.

 I love when people try to make this comparison.

The world economy of that era is night and day compared to the world economy of today. The short version is that following WWII the U.S. had almost a monopoly on exports worldwide because Europe was picking itself back from all the damage it incurred during the war so, yeah, you can pay people overly inflated wages and benefits when you're the only one everyone can buy from. As Europe started coming back online in the 60s that's when our economy started on a downward slope.

Why not? According to the wingnuts we already have a Socialist in the WH.
Obama is an imitation socialist who is in the pocket of the One Percent.

Bernie Sanders is a real socialist. He will serve the interests of the common people.
True. 44 is a SINO but Bernie will deliver the goods (stop letting the 1% dictate policy).

 Here's a dose of reality for you. In the Socialist nations the 1% are EXACTLY the ones making the policies.

He talks a big game, but when it comes time to VOTE- he's the most reliable Democrat in the Senate.

The fact is that the American people elected Barack Obama because the majority want radical change. The President has without a doubt not been as radical as many people hoped, but this is a in part because of the extreme obstructionism of the far right.

Don't be surprised if the American people chose someone at least as radical as President Obama in 2016.

Bingo.

Somehow that fact always gets by them.

Who is "them".

Please provide examples of a Euro-socialist ( you know....that thing that "they" want America to become ) state where the 1% make the policies.

Let's discuss this. Mature and honest.

Bernie the fruitcake has less than ZERO chance.... Outside of Vermont he couldn't win a job as dog catcher.

I don't necessarily believe that. A populist argument can go a long way these days. This is not the same America it used to be. FDR got away with a lot of radical shit for his time because of how bad people were suffering economically.

Yep, and that's why Warren poses such a threat. Very passionate, a very simple/simplistic message, us vs. them, road 'n bridges, all that.

I don't know why the GOP is so quick to dismiss possible Dem candidates, especially given their own weak field.

.
The GOP has an excellent field of expereinced smart people. The Democrats have a weak field of ideologues wth not real accomplishments. Elizabeth Warren? Seriously? She is the Ben Carson of the Left: right demographic mouthing platitudes they can agree with.
hahahahhhahahahahahahahahahahahhaha

I wouldn't want E. Warren running for POTUS anyways. She would run into the same problem that Obama has run into: being stonewalled by the conservatives. She is significantly more effective is she maintains her position as senator.
Obama wasnt stonewalled by conservatives. Obama was stonewalled by his own inability to compromse, his inability to reach across the aisle, his inability to treat other opinions as valid, his inexperience and his incompetence.
hahahahahhahahahahahaha keep carrying that water partisan

If its a FACT why are both of you too lazy to provide a source for the broad brush comment? :eusa_whistle:

Translation: I am way too fucking stupid to even begin to refute any of that but I can't let it go by without showing some kind of disagreement.
Carry on, retard.
