If he were inclined to socialist reformation he would have appointed an honest Attorney General and directed him to investigate Wall Street and the banking industry and prosecute all violators. He would then have seized control of the failing banks, restored their stability, restored the repealed control regulations, and publicly identifed every member of Congress who opposed economic reformation.

He also would have directed his Attorney General to prosecute the Bush Crime Family.

But we know what he did instead.

Political independence doesn't call for isolation. Bernie's cooperative disposition toward Democrats does not impose obligation but earns him cooperative friends.

If Bernie were elected it would spur the immediate growth of an Independent party -- which a lot of discontented Democrats (and a few Republicans) would defect to.
