Noomi,

You made a mistake. Most robberies do not take place when the residents are home. In fact, stealing them from unoccupied homes is a favorite method by which criminals obtain firearms.

You might have meant that you think such a sign would put you in danger of a home invasion by someone who wants to do you physical harm.

You have fallen into the void. BigDerp thinks he has cornered you and that there is no escape.

All you need do however, is point out that, while you personally do not wish to own a firearm, the debate in America in no way threatens a homeowners ability to keep a gun for self defense purposes.

Have a great day.

Derppy she said that she would not place a gun free zone sign in the front of her house because it would be an invitation to be robbed
I realize someone needs to help her with damage control, but you are not the one maybe she should explain her hypocrisy not you.

Yes I would. Then I would sit and wait for the vunnerables aka Obama supporters with my assault rifle and light their asses up!!!

Those signs are completely worthless. The gun-free zone signs were supposed to inform people they could not bring their guns into places and we all know it was only the dangerous people who didn't obey them. What the hell did they think would happen anyway? Idiots!!!

In Texas the only sign that would keep me from being armed in any establishment is a 30.06 sign.

What is far more sensible is the decriminalization of most drugs.

Gun deaths in the USA and in Mexico would go down dramatically if the cartel's profits were removed from the equation.

Yes.

We should also improve educational facilities, supplies and teachers for impoverished communities. There's no point in having an Affirmative Action program if most impoverished students don't even manage to graduate High School.

Cause is not equal to effect.

Gun violence is the EFFECT of crime, we must address the cause.

And adjusted for population, the death by firearms rate is 5% of the USA.

Let's stay honest, folks.
yes let's keep it honest
Stabbing deaths are the worst ever after UK crime figures show six people are killed by knife crime each week | The Sun |News|Sun Justice

So with the stabbings adjusted to population the gun and knife rate are 9% of the USA. These are from your own figures here and in your other thread.

Meaning that 1 Briton for 11 Americans, adjusted for population, with much stricter gun regulations.

You, as always, are on the short end of the stick, bigreb.

No jake it doesn't work that way the UK has more murders by knives than in the U.S.

Yep, the murder rate for gun deaths is 5% adjusted in the UK for population, while the stabbing rate is a bit over 1:1 for the UK over the USA.

So, you think that that the 6% UK murder rate adjusted for population by gun and knife is better than the SIXTEEN TIMES greater risk in dying in the USA.

You are stone cold nuts. And you want "unusual and dangerous" weapons in your civilian hands?

Since the UK doesn't have access to guns they must turn too knives
So jake the UK has more murder with a knife than the U.S. has with knives.
