14M lose coverage under GOP health bill: Congress’ analyst

You progressives if you want to pay for everyone else's shit, go right ahead just don't expect any One else to...
I don't believe the stupidity and short sightedness of you people. Obviously you don't understand the concept of insurance. You might pay something now for " somebody else's shit " but some day, your "shit" will have to be covered by someone else. Everybody gets old and sick, and if your not already, you too someday will be, unless you come to a sudden bad end. If you don't contribute to the insurance pool now, it will not be there for you when you need it.

You also don't understand the concept of a civilized , cooperative society. Even animals in the wild know that they have to work together and cooperate in order to survive, but you don't seem to grasp that. When you pay into insurance, you are not just paying for others who are using it now. You are paying to keep you country strong and healthy. If the people of your country are sick the country is sick, and less productive and who the fuck do you think pays for that. ? Would you rather be paying for those who are no longer able to work because of illness by making up for the taxes that they no longer pay, and the disability that they are collecting instead? Grow a fucking brain!!
:lmao:
Worrying about something that "might happen"? Is that any way to fucking live? Hell no
Paying into a pool is not what anyone reasonable would call responsible, the fact remains there is 100% chance that will be abused by deadbeats.
Now making insurance mandatory and/or more socialist entitlement programs that's nothing more than legalized extortion.
Now you need to realize that the federal government is not the beginning and end of life… Dip shit
If we're going to require insurance companies to accept people with serious health problems with huge expenses, then the insurance companies must have healthier subscribers to offset these costs, otherwise premiums will rise even higher.

This new bill removes what people hate most about Obamacare, mandatory requirements and keeps what they like most, no preexisting conditions and with no other real cost reductions pretend that it's going to reduce cost.
You can't force people into such programs and expect them to except it…
Can't have a system of insurance where only the ones who are currently using the benefits pay in. Do you wait until you have an auto accident before you by car insurance?
Whether the insurance or any socialist entitlement program the right thing is to make it a choice, never force anybody into shit they will never use, can't afford or just don't want...

When you have private insurance, the insurer keeps your premium payments no matter how much or how little you require healthcare.
With the government as the insurer, if you don't get sick or injured, etc., the taxpayers pay nothing, minus some administrative costs.

All that you seem to be able to do here is blather senselessly about insurance being a socialist entitlement - proving time and again that you don't understand the basic concept of insurance and do not have a clue as to what socialism actually is. Very sad as Trump would say.

You act like this is the only goverment mandate that exist. Government forces people to do all kinds of things they don't want to do.

You can take it to the bank. Sooner or later the US will catch up to common sense.

And when will that be.

Our last three presidential selections don't support your statement.

You still need to prove that only 6% of ACA insureds use the exchanges papi.

According to the Kaiser foundation about half of the the 15% of the population buys non-employee sponsored healthcare plans. Of that percentage about half buy policies from exchange and half off the exchange.

If your family income is under 400% of poverty level, $97,000/yr. for a family of 4, buying health insurance off the exchange means you want get any government subsidy. For this reason, almost all policies sold off the exchange are to upper income families. These policies are ACA compliant. For most people buying off the exchange will not result in lower premiums and if you qualify for subsidies, they will almost certainly be more expensive.

Many insurers sell the same plan at the same price on and off the exchange. However, there can be some minor difference in other off exchange plans. All plans regardless of where you buy them must meet the same ACA requirements, so don't expect to save a lot of money. The risk pool is the same as the exchange plans so you if you get a little more coverage, you'll pay more.

With all due respect Carb stated that only 6% of ACA insureds use the exchanges. Patently stupid, one cannot take advantage of any subsidies if one doesn't use the exchanges. In fact subsidies are the ONLY reason to use the exchanges.

6% of the all the ACA insured which includes employee sponsored insurance, Medicaid and Medicare is probably correct. However, individual insurance purchased is split almost equally between exchanges and purchases from the insurers or a broker.

Moronic Predictions on Health Care

Gohmert: Obamacare Will Fail Like The Soviet Union | Right Wing Watch

Robertson: ‘People Will Die’ From Obamacare | Right Wing Watch

Pratt: Obamacare Could Lead To Gun Confiscations, Concentration Camps | Right Wing Watch

And, just on Friday, minutes before the bill was pulled:

Pat Robertson: Mark My Words, The GOP Health Bill Will Pass! | Right Wing Watch
Yesterday, Pat Robertson kicked off “The 700 Club” by declaring that the American Health Care Act, the Republican bill to repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act, “is going to pass” and “they’re going to give Trump a victory.”

“It’s going to go through the Senate, and we’re all going to rejoice that we’re going to pay less on health care,” he said, despite the fact that if enacted, most people would see their premiums skyrocket.

Robertson said that “he knew that the Lord was going to give Trump victory” and that God is using the president to do great things.

“They’re going to get it,” he said. “They’re going to give it to the president. Mark my word: it will pass. They will get those extra votes. It will go through. They’re going to work together to give us tremendous health care.”
