14M lose coverage under GOP health bill: Congress’ analyst

You progressives if you want to pay for everyone else's shit, go right ahead just don't expect any One else to...
I don't believe the stupidity and short sightedness of you people. Obviously you don't understand the concept of insurance. You might pay something now for " somebody else's shit " but some day, your "shit" will have to be covered by someone else. Everybody gets old and sick, and if your not already, you too someday will be, unless you come to a sudden bad end. If you don't contribute to the insurance pool now, it will not be there for you when you need it.

You also don't understand the concept of a civilized , cooperative society. Even animals in the wild know that they have to work together and cooperate in order to survive, but you don't seem to grasp that. When you pay into insurance, you are not just paying for others who are using it now. You are paying to keep you country strong and healthy. If the people of your country are sick the country is sick, and less productive and who the fuck do you think pays for that. ? Would you rather be paying for those who are no longer able to work because of illness by making up for the taxes that they no longer pay, and the disability that they are collecting instead? Grow a fucking brain!!

Need we say any more?
YES, yes you do.....like why didn't you mention that many of those who will 'lose' their health care are those who were FORCED under monetary penalty by the Obama administration to buy ACA coverage.

Nice try...but as usual, in an attempt to smear the GOP snowflakes leave out part of the story / engage in 'fake news'. :p
First of all, how many are in that group? I don't know and neither do you. Second of all, it's quite possible that many of those who you claim were "forced " to by insurance may have instead been incentivized to by due to the subsidies. In addition, many of those who- for whatever reason -first acquired insurance at the start of the ACA likely have come to like and rely on it. But that's OK, I understand the only way for you to win this argument is to keep dumbing it down.
And many who have come to rely on their insurance can no longer afford insurance due to the massive increase in price. Oh yes, many low-income people do have 'affordable' health care plans which include a massive deductible, which means they really CAN'T afford the cheap insurance they could afford to buy.

If I don't have $5k at any given time because of low income and living expenses but can afford cheap health care with a $5k deductible, what the hell does it matter that I have insurance when I can't afford to get sick and use the damn policy? :p
I don't know how many can't use their insurance because of high deductibles. Why don't you tell us since your the one making that claim. And while your at it why don't you be honest and tell the whole story instead of just the part that support s your claim that the ACA is a failure? For instance, while there high deductibles for the cheaper plans, there is also help for the out of pocket expenses available.

Cost Sharing Reduction Subsidies (CSR) - Obamacare Facts

What Costs Do Cost Sharing Reduction Subsidies Cover?
Cost Sharing Reduction Subsidies lower the amount you have to pay out-of-pocket for deductibles, coinsurance, and copayments. They can also reduce the maximum out-of-pocket costs you are responsible for in a policy period. More specifically, they do this by raising the actuarial value of your health plan.

Does the GOP plane include anything like that? What would the deductibles look like ? You don't know? Does anybody? What we do know is that people will get less help with the premiums. Yet you moronically are willing to scrap the ACA for the GOP tripe.

Here is an idea. Try actually researching the issue rather than just tossing out ideological based talking points.

The problem here is that you cannot use the Cost Sharing with the Bronze Plans.
Guess which plans are sold the most due to affordability?

Paying into a pool is not what anyone reasonable would call responsible, the fact remains there is 100% chance that will be abused by deadbeats.
Now making insurance mandatory and/or more socialist entitlement programs that's nothing more than legalized extortion.
Now you need to realize that the federal government is not the beginning and end of life… Dip shit

It is indeed true, I have seen the Cost Sharing on some silver plans reduce their expenses to almost nothing.

There is also a difference between insurance and socialism . And who are the deadbeats that you decry.? You are only confirming your ignorance with this tripe.

The 800 lb Gorilla in the room here is the over arching cost of EVERYTHING Healthcare related. The funding is the problem in every aspect of the issue. Labor, Pharmaceuticals, Legal Fees, insurance (including Mal Practice insurance), all the way down to how much a Q Tip costs. It's not as easy as one would think.

OK, why include everyone into insurance/socialist entitlement programs? Why force them?
Why not make those programs and insurance of any sort and "opt in"?
Obamacare would've passed with flying colors with bipartisan support if it would've been an "opt in" from the start... you know a choice.
The fact remains we are not all in this together, it does not take a fucking village and we don't need a safe room on every fucking corner for the snowflakes…

Just for the record, how many of you are aware that only about 6% of the population uses the exchanges?

The 'savings' from throwing millions off coverage almost all goes the wealthy in the form of tax cuts.

Typical short sighted and selfish right wing view of every poor bastard for himself. Any one with first grade math and critical thinking skills would (or should) be able to understand why your "opt in" proposal would not work.

The 'savings' from throwing millions off coverage almost all goes the wealthy in the form of tax cuts.

Now you have two claims to prove.

Prove that only 6% use the Exchanges and prove this tax assertion.

If we're going to require insurance companies to accept people with serious health problems with huge expenses, then the insurance companies must have healthier subscribers to offset these costs, otherwise premiums will rise even higher.

This new bill removes what people hate most about Obamacare, mandatory requirements and keeps what they like most, no preexisting conditions and with no other real cost reductions pretend that it's going to reduce cost.

Can't have a system of insurance where only the ones who are currently using the benefits pay in. Do you wait until you have an auto accident before you by car insurance?
