20 million at risk of starvation in world’s largest crisis in 70 Years

The West exports medical care and sanitation practices, which increases population growth, which increases demands on scarcer and scarcer resources on cultures that can't handle the growth, which in turn causes political instability, famines, wars, migrations, epidemics ...

And then there are the global food corporations that push small subsistence farmers of their lands to create more 'productive' mega farms that only require seasonal labor, leaving the locals more impoverished than they were before,, etc., etc. This in turn creates the same need people had in the past for higher numbers of children as the family social and economic safety net. And so it goes.

WINNER WINNER WINNER WINNER ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ This guys gets it!

In the U.S., we devote 58 million acres to growing corn to turn into ethanol to blend with gasoline and/or export it for no other reason than to appease the Ass Fucking Farmer.

The environment would be much better off if we planted 58 million acres of trees. The world would be much better off if we planted 58 million acres of food crop.

But nooooooo..... GOD MADE A FARMER!
You should boycott produce by god!
