4 year old exercises his second amendment rights

Cars accidentally kill about 35,000 people a year....

Guns accidentally kill 505 people a year.

In 2014, nearly 25,000 died from accidental overdoses of prescription medication, only 50 times greater than gun deaths. Overdose Death Rates

We should ban painkillers, because if it saves just one life, it's worth it.

And painkillers do a lot of good also.

Tell that to the parents of a teenager who got into his mom's Oxycodone and ODed.

Of course guns do good too, keeping women from being raped and stores from being robbed and police from being beaten, but that's irrelevant.

What about that woman shot and killed by her kid in a Wal-Mart.
Drug or alcohol abuser? Or violent?

She was shot with her own gun you know. Which never happens according to 2nd A, unless you are violent and a drug or alcohol abuser.

90% of gun murder is committed by criminals with prior arrests.....80% of gun murder victims are the same.......

Gun accidents are primarily caused by drug and alcohol abuse and violent criminals at home.......but keep citing the few in the news........

Guns accidentally kill 505 people a year.

Everyone has a car and use it daily. Guns are barely used by comparison.

62 million cars kill 35,000. 330 million guns kill 30,000. Most of those suicide. Cars kill far more people than guns do. Doctors though, they kill the most. Only 800,000 doctors in this country and every year they manage to kill 120,000 people thorough mistakes, malpractice, misdiagnosis etc. If you truly cared about saving lives you would work on doctors and cars. Guns are a vanishingly small source of death based on numbers.

Again, cars are driven daily by most of the country. Most those 350 million guns are almost never fired. They are just one of jo bobs 200 guns. The comparison is comical.

By the way....nutbags.....this is not a call to ban guns.

It is a call to regulate them. Huuuuuge difference. Assholes.

Nope.....every thing you want to do to "regulate" guns leads to an eventual ban....racist.

Swimming pools are unused about 3/4 of the year.

If it saves just one life...

Depends on the pool and where. But again if kids played with guns as much as they swim the numbers would be quite different.

And how many miles are cars driven? guns on the other hand are not used or abused on a daily basis , cars were not designed to kill or maim, guns are. In addition you have to be licensed and tested to see if you are capable of driving a car , not so with guns, but your money down after the background and walk out with a weapon with no training how to use or safety

It's not a ban, you just can't buy them, carry them, or use them, and having spent brass in the back seat of your car is grounds for 10 years in the greybar hotel.

But we don't want to ban anything.

This car analogy always cracks me up.

Car manufacturers spend millions trying to improve saftey and survivability in case of an accident.

Now what do the gun manufacturers do to improve safety or survivability in case of an accidental gun shooting? Nothing you say! They actually work to make the gun more lethal?

But but but guns and cars are the same. Both have accidents and people die. It's the same I tell you. The same.

They keep smart guns out of the country.

Gun nuts think that only 505 people are accidentally killed by guns each year but lives are saved by guns MILLIONS of times each year. That's because they are such sticklers for accurate data.

Gun nuts think that guns are the same as other things that accidentally kill people......even though ALL of those other things have actual uses other than killing.

Normal people know that both of these arguments are bunk.

Things designed to kill people need to be regulated to a far greater degree than things that are not designed to kill people. That's a fairly indisputable point, nutbags.

Who's writing banning guns. It's responsibility that is in question.

In fact....if you own a gun...and do not abuse drugs, alcohol, do not have a history of violence or a history of crime......you will not be shot with your own gun........

The young woman whose kid shot her. Which one was she; violent or a drug/alcohol abuser?

Surely you don't think the 4 yo old shot her with his gun? Everyone knows a .45 is to big for 4 YO. Nothing more than a .380 for those little hands.

That was the mistake. Lack of gun control by the 4YO.

Lack of parental responsibility.

And nuts like you are why we have the 2nd Amendment........you do not think...you emote.....the truth, the facts and reality show that not one of your beliefs about guns is true....so you lie, you emote...and you create fantasies about guns and gun owners....

Guns are designed to save the life of the user....and most of the time it is never fired and achieves this end.

Hey dude, just doing what you do every day. Posting the news about guns.

What is the problem.

And was the woman in the OP, violent or a drug/alcohol abuser?

I also post studies on the truth about guns...all you have are the isolated stories....I gave you the total of gun accidents and gun deaths...you give 2 stories.......
