The gun seller didn't do anything..the ATF agents saw the guy and followed him...after the sale they talked to the seller.......moron.....

When a felon is caught with a gun they can be arrested...just like this guy was......we don't need to force normal gun owners to jump through any more hoops...we have all the gun laws we need....and we obviously have the police techniques we need because they caught this guy....

I have also posted all the other guys they have caught, not with background checks, but with criminal snitches......

Along with his behavior, Weiss bought pistols in Virginia but had Maryland tags on his car leading agents to suspect he had committed a crime. Under federal law, patrons can only buy handguns in the state where they live.

Wow...they used actual police work....and not a universal background check to catch this guy.....who knew....?

With six felony convictions, prosecutors said that Weiss “may not qualify as a career offender, but (he) is a person dedicated to a life of crime” and recommended 10 years in prison.

Anti gunner leaders want universal background checks solely so they can move on to the next step....universal gun registration..since universal background checks will not stop criminals or mass shooters from getting guns...so they will then say..."Now we need universal gun registration otherwise universal background checks won't work."

And then, years from now, they will do what Britain and Australia did and use that registration information to ban and confiscate guns......

That can't happen until a majority of voters agree that guns should be banned and confiscated. And if they do, it will be your fault for failing to compromise and give some respect to the safety of unarmed citizens.

The most notorious school shooting in American history happened a couple of years ago on Va/Tech Blacksburg campus because liberal minded people decided that the privacy of a mentally ill person was more important than public safety. Court ordered psychiatric counseling did not show up on the instant name check and a maniac was allowed to "legally" purchase firearms. Recently, my aunt gave me all of the weapons that my uncle owned and he's been dead about 30 years. How would anyone know she gave them to me since no one has a record that they even exist? If they don't exist, how do they know a background check would be required?

Do you realize that gangs avoid these gun shows specifically because the police have a huge presence at them? That they don't even like private sales because they are afraid that the guy selling will be an undercover cop....that they prefer to use straw buyers that they set up...especially family and friends to buy their guns....thus making your whole point stupid...do you realize that at all?
