In case you missed it I have been in favor of releasing nonviolent offenders for a long time and have said that very thing many many times on this board.

I stated a largely ignored thread about the Obama administration's comical management style. Given the Secret Service, IRS and now VA employees all being guilty of mis-management to put it mildly and criminal behavior to put it most severely; it makes you wonder what we don't know.

Given your list of 74 shootings above; it makes one wonder how many were prevented by a friend, parent, coach, or teacher intervening and how much more homicidal our society would be if we didn't have the gun laws we currently have.
